1 Timing Tensioner problem of the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu

Tl- the contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that the vehicle lunged when the accelerator pedal was applied to pick up speed several times as the failure was progressing intermittently as well as a loss of power constantly. The contact had to constantly pull the vehicle over to the side of the road as well as towing the vehicle back to the dealer for further testing and diagnosis under the warranty for servicing. The dealer coyle Chevrolet Buick GMC, 1801 broadway st, clarksville, in 47129, (812) 218-1100 serviced the vehicle under the warranty and after the warranty had expired, they diagnosed and replaced the snl tensioner, snl bolt, snl generator, a/c compressor, flushed the coolant, replaced compressor kit(2) as well as additional repairs which had failure to provide a permanent fix. The vehicle continued to fail to pick up speed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was waiting for a response to determine the technical guidelines to repair the vehicle. The approximate failure mileage was not available.
