Four problems related to brake disc pads have been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet S10. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at highway speed, wheel kept spinning,and the brake pads got stuck. Also, passenger's side disc brakes didn't release, and rotors burned.
Brake pads and rotors failed.
When driving on any kind of road conditions and hitting a bump of any size or any kind of ripple in the road and applying the brakes, the vehicle virbrates. Brakes pads and rotors were replaced at 20,000. Brakes need to be replaced again.
Brake pads needed to be replaced too soon. Dealer says its normal.
