While driving home, the abs light came on in my dashboard. I pulled over and there was a loud buzzing noise coming from under the truck. This is the abs pump running continuously. After driving home (1 mile from where the light came on) I turned off my truck. The noise continued to run. I disconnected the battery terminal and the noise stopped. I have contacted gm concerning this and have not received any help thus far. It concerns me that a major component of my brake system would fail at such low mileage. This could have been dangerous had the roads been snow or ice covered. Please help me in this problem. I am not alone in this problem with my truck. There are numerous other owners that have posted their problems on the internet. This needs to be taken care by gm as soon as possible.
