When braking at a low speed abs system suddenly engaged causing the brake pedal to go almost to the floor and drastically increasing the stopping distance, almost causing an accident. This occurred on dry pavement with no skid imminent. The abs control module went out on my 1999 chevy Silverado c1500 truck (56,000 miles).
