Brake Electric Antilock problems of the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado

1 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 05/14/2010

The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. While traveling 10 mph the contact noticed that the abs system would activate without warning every time the contact applied the brakes. The vehicle had not been diagnosed. There were no prior warnings. The failure mileage was 24000. The current mileage was 27900.

2 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 12/17/2009

The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. While driving 50 mph he heard a grinding sound from the front-end of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and he was advised that the hub and bearing assembly failed. The vehicle was repaired at an expense of $432. 41. The failure mileage was 48985. The current mileage was 49000. Updated 01/29/10. The consumer stated when the grinding started, the vehicle pulled to the right. Also, the abs activated under normal driving conditions.
