Brake Abs Warning Light Problems of Chevrolet Silverado 2500

The contact owns a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. While driving 15 mph, the abs light illuminated. The contact depressed the brake pedal, which failed to stop the vehicle. Brake lines have rusted out. Abs warning light came on, then soon after abs service light came on. Had to replace all of the lines and 3 calipers where lines had rusted to the caliper. Vehicle only has 41200 miles on it. Cost me $861 to have them replaced. Service technician said he had never seen lines that were that bad for a vehicle with such low milage. One of the lines crumbled at the touch when it was removed.

Mar14,apr5,jun4,oct19 and dec9/13 about this abs problem and they keep closing my file and as of jan9/14 by phoning me refuse to respond to my complaints. Barnes wheaton chev service mgr jessie-if one brake sensor isn't working properly the computor will send all the braking power to the opposite wheel. Nov13/13 preston chev service advisor-he has had problems with these abs systems at low speeds-replaced controller to correct problem.
