The contact owns a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. On June 14, 2007, at 84,000 miles, the contact took the vehicle to have the brakes serviced. The mechanic found that the back side of the rotors were completely rusted, except for a half inch of pad. Rear brake rotors rusted and pads only making 1/2" contact on inboard side of rotors on 2005 chevy Silverado 2500 hd with less than 11,000 miles. Gm fix is to turn rotors instead of replacing with rotors that don't rust this quickly.
