On October the 22nd. 2009 the rear brakes started to make a loud noise. Upon checking the rear brakes I found the rotors had started to come apart. I have replaced the brake pads and rotors at this time. However the pads that I removed from my 2006 chevy 2500 hd truck still had material left on them. There was no metal to metal contact between the pads and the rotors.
