39 Brake Sensor problem of the 1999 Chevrolet Suburban

Failure Date: 07/20/1999

Brakes on 1999 chevy Suburban k1500 have been problem since day 1. Dealer ( now defunct) spent much time and money trying to fix. 5 sets of pads, 2 sets of rotors etc. Etc. Vehicle now will not stop below 10 mph unless anti-lock is disabled (pulling fuse) gm has acknowledged problem in similar vehicles as corroded anti-lock sensors but refuses to include this same model, thereby eliminating any fix by them. This known safety issue is causing strife as my wife now refuses to drive a vehicle with questionable brakes. The problem gm faces with anti-lock brakes is a major one and could cost them billions if admitted. Is there any way to get some action on this?.
