1999 Suburban with brake problems customer believes that her vehicle should have been included in the gm recall #630-2438*
the consumer was having problems with the abs activating at low speeds. The abs sensor was removed and corrosion was cleaned from the knuckles. The right front caliper bolt was replaced. Even though the consumer experienced the same problem as stated in the recall, the vehicle identification number was not included in the recall there were certain vehicle identification numbers. The accelerator pedal was hard to push down. The dealer cleaned the injectors. The rear wiper had to be replaced.

Engine check light came on 1st then a various other probles began occuring as we tried to get our vehicle home. When we got it to the dealer's repair shop we were told that the #2 fuel injector had started leaking and filled the whole electrical system with gas. This happened again 4 monthes later when the #5 injector started leaking. Both times the dealer told us that we were lucky that the vehicle didn't start on fire.
There have been three sets of brakes pads and rotors replaced. When consumer applied brakes brake pedal went all the way down to the floor ,and vehicle would turn in opposite direction. Also, vehicle was leaking brake fluid and the fuel injectors were failing. Windshield leaks. Consumer has contacted the dealership.
Car was difficult to start, and when it did start, wouldn't accelerate past 28 mph. Windows squeak. Tailgate has trouble latching and unlatching.

Fuel injector gaskets failed.
The injections were defective which caused the engine light to illuminate. There was a recall related to this problem but the consumers vehicle was not included due to VIN.
Fuel injectors are defective, and causing vehicle to stall at random. There is no permanent fix only thing dealer can do is clean injector.
Check the engine light came on and the vehicle was misfiring due to injectors failure.
