Wiper Problems of Chevrolet Suburban - part 2

Tl- the contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Suburban. The contact stated that the rear defrost terminal detached from the vehicle. It was taken to a dealer for diagnosis and the terminal was glued back on but it did not hold. The terminal was soldered on and again it did not hold. The rear window was replaced including a new rear defrost system. Fifteen months years later the failure recurred. The vehicle was returned to the dealer and it was glued back on but it did not hold. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was notified and a complaint was filed. The failure mileage was 40,052 and the current mileage was 70,000. Dt.

The contact owns a 1997 Chevrolet Suburban. The contact stated that the windshield wipers and washers failed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The manufacturer was contact and confirmed that remedy repairs were performed under NHTSA campaign id number:03v159000(visibility:windshield wiper/washer) prior to the failure. The vheicle was not further repaired. The failure mileage was 99,000 and the current mileage was 99,200.

The contact owns a 1994 Chevrolet Suburban. While parked, the contact noticed that the windshield wipers would not activate. The failure recurred intermittently. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign id number: 03v159000 (visibility:windshield wiper/washer) but was advised by the manufacturer that the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 108,000.

The windshield wipers and fluid work intermittently when on. Called chevy and was told no recalls on my vehicle. It has been a while since this has started.

Windshield wipers work intermittently, there are 2 recalls on windshield wipers, but this vehicle was not included due to VIN.

Windshield wipers work when they want to, when it rains they don't work and when it's dry they do. . . You can hear the motor trying to work but nothing happens. This has been going on for almost a year now and is happening much more frequently now.

Windshield wipers work only sometimes. Sometimes have to spin the controller a few times to get them working. Even then they may not work. Frustrating!.
