Consumer was traveling 65mph on highway and steering was leaking. Steering pump went out 70,000 miles, and had to be replaced.
The steering appears to over compensate during cornering. It feels as if there is a sudden boost in power steering pump pressure to the steering box. This causes the driver's existing turning pressure on the steering wheel to turn the truck to abruptly during cornering.
