Around 2019, I noticed that each time I started my Trailblazer, the "service air bag" light will flash for a minute, then goes off, then comes right back on and stays on. There have been some days when it only flashed then went off, but after about a few months, the "service air bag" light remains on. Have taking it to the Chevrolet dealership to get a diagnosis. The light remains on at all times. Afraid that if I was involved in an accident, the air bag will not deploy!.

Service air bag with would periodically come on and go off depending on speed and turing the steering wheel. It finally stayed on for good. Was told by one dealership that it was a loose connection and that it was still safe to drive. Drove it like that for a while and finally had a chance to take it to a different dealership. Due to the force of impact even local repair shop stated that my air bags should have gone off as well. Is there a recall on this model for air bags not deploying? As soon as you start vehicle. . . . Dash shows that the air bags needs to be services and it stays on the whole time of your journey. . When I lift my seat to get correct positioning to drive it starts to have the bell sensor ring, like when you don't your seat bealt on. . . .
