Vehicle was parked for 30 minutes. Came out of store and car would not start. Changed the battery in store parking lot and still wouldn't start but the battery light and engine light were on.
Car shuts off while braking, and turns everything off. It also locks the brake, and takes minutes to release. When this happens all lights turn off, push to start won't work, and engine will not start. The car cuts off at the most inopportune times, and makes driving extremely dangerous. It's been shutting off more frequently, and for longer moments at a time. This usually occurs on street's but has occurred in two drive-thrus. On one occasion the car shut off mid-turn. Again this makes driving incredibly dangerous, and is frustrating and inconvenient. This is my only means of transportation so driving has become a risk.
Car will not start. Prompts warning engine please wait to start vehicle. Many other owners are having the same problem with no cause of why.

The contact would have to either get a jump or wait a few hours to attempt to start the vehicle. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge ram bountiful 755 n 500 w, west bountiful, ut 84010 (801) 693-2200 stated that there were no recalls and there would be a diagnostic fee to look at the issue. I've only had my car for less than 2 months now and the car is not switching gears properly, the car also will not start sometimes the message displays that it is not in park and will not start for a while. On 11/22/2019 the car would not start and it also would not turn off, it was stuck in acc and on mode, it took about 3 hours to get the car to completely shut down. Also, while I'm driving when it actually moves it acts like it wants to cut off while driving on the streets.
Vehicle will not start up, all lights will come on dash but will not turn on or crank. Vehicle displayed "service shifter" as well as "service transmission" signs and then would not accelerate over 34 mph. Check engine lights comes on but then turns off by itself. I just purchased the car and haven't had it for 15 days.
Push button start requires foot on brake, car in park and press of button/ignition. When doing so, the engine will not start. Lights, radio, open door warning bells ding, but car will not start. Fuses and battery have been checked and are good. Car must be boosted off to start. Chrysler will not fix this on their dime even though there are recalls for this on other vehicles of the same make and model as mine. Service and recall team was very rude and refused to offer any help.
The car was parked in a parking lot and went to start the car and it wouldn't start. It made some unusual noises and all kinds of lights flashing. The instrument panel was flickering off and on. Many warnings popped up. The brake pedal was very hard to push, there was a lot of resistance. Even said car fob not detected and both fobs were in the car and have new batteries. When we got out and locked the car and tried to get back in the car, we couldn't get it to unlock. Then tried to unlock it a couple of hours later and was able to get it to unlock but car still wouldn't start.
My 2015 Chrysler 200 limited would not start and the brake was extremely tight. I was glad I was parked in my garage and not driving only to have it stall. The lights and radio came on at first. I thought maybe my key fob battery was low so I used another key fob with a fresh battery. Well it still didn't start. So went to work. Luckily I have an old car I could use. When I came home to see if the car would start it was completely dead. No lights, no dashboard lights, trunk won't open, doors won't lock and unlock. Just completely dead. I have had the car for four years now and it has given me a couple of problems but this is the worst. I wish I had never bought this vehicle. It is a total waste of money. Now I will have to take it to the dealer again!.

I was sitting in my car and notice the airbag light appeared and I knew I had just got it fixed at a Chrysler dealership that charge me $183 for diagnostics when they seen it itself. Also it keeps going on and off couple of days later my car would not start. It was not the battery because the lights were on there was no start for the click I waited about 20 minutes and it started something are wrong with these Chrysler cars it is imperative why a car should not start or airbag light keep coming on once they are fixed I will never bye a Chrysler again this is harmful to me and my children something needs to be done.
I purchased the car on September 23rd, 2017, with approximately $42,000 mills. In January 2018, I began having some headlights, airbags, and engine lights issues. I took it to the car dealership service to get a headlight bulb replacement, an airbag check, and engine reset. Three months later, the same issues occur with the airbag light going on and off, and the headlight bulb needed another replacement. I also begin having some "key fob not detected" issue, even if I am holding the key right next to the push start button. I changed the battery on the key, but the issue persisted. I took it back to the dealership service. They had to replace the entire key system and provide me with a new key. By the end of 2019, my screen went black while driving and came back on after a few minutes. By March 2020, the screen shut off completely and my car would not start unless been put on a new battery or after several jump-starts. If I turn off the car and try to turn it back on, my battery and engine light signals are on, and I need to jump-start the car again or get another battery. My first new battery replacement did not last a month.
Car purchased 10/21/2016, 3 months later problems began. 01/16/2016 service air bag light came on and will not go off. Dealer said it is not covered under my extended warranty, for what reason I still don't know. Taken the car to 3 different shops to work on it and I keep being told it is a passenger seat connector, yet I have had this done 3 times now. . . $500 out of pocket each time, the light is still on as of 11/10/2017. Now the car also has a service engine light on constantly along with this airbag light. As well as of 10/25/2017 my car has began to tell me the engine is running hot while I'm driving, but the thermostat display inside never even gets to half. . So not sure about this now. As well as also telling me to service the electronic throttle control as soon as the overheat sensor goes off. Lastly I was at the gas station the other day and the car wouldn't start, it said the keyfob not detected but it was in my hand! had to google what to do. . (which is put nose of keyfob to button and press it that way if happens to anybody else) soo that would be a total of 4 different lights on at this time of 11/10/2017. Enterprise has yet to help me or get back to me on any of these issues. It was a rental car before I bought it from them, obviously they sold me a lemon! as I was getting an oil change on 11/01/17 I had them run codes and it and it read I needed a new thermostat to take care of the engine overheating and the etc light. . . Needless to say this has been a car from hell. I have filed complaints to enterprise about this car repeatedly especially with it all happening so soon after getting the car. I'm stuck with it now so I would love for somebody to know what there doing and actually fix this car!!!.
As I was on my way to work at 5:30 am this car stalled and told me to pull over, turn off engine and place in park. I live in country so there was nothing but a back country road. The car would not start at all would not shift into park, I called my husband to come help me. He had to pull both battery terminals off and reconnect them. After I was 2 hours late to work the car finally started again. Since this incident this has happened 3 more times at different times of day.
The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that the vehicle failed to start. The key fob also failed to lock and unlock the vehicle doors and the tire monitor failed to function. In addition, while pulling out of the driveway, the electronic emergency brake applied independently without warning, causing both rear wheels to lock up. The contact stated that the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The failure recurred twice. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 57,000.
The car will not crank even though the key fob is in close proximity. It can take up to 1 hour (sometimes more, sometimes less) to get the car cranked. The car starts at random. . . No special technique can be used to get this car to crank as it should. The key fob works for locking, unlocking doors; however, it does not work to start ignition. I have replaced the battery in the fob, had the car's battery tested (it's in good working order), taken it back to the dealership of purchase twice. I have been dealing with this issue for several days now in upper 90 degree weather in florida. The vehicle is immobile/stationary. The occurrences have happened at home, work, grocery store, restaurant. Additionally I have noticed that the car skips while in motion. It feels as if something gets hung up and then releases. This is unsafe and frustrating. This car is crap!.
The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. While driving approximately 35 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The contact waited for approximately a minute to restart the vehicle and drive home. The vehicle would not start again and was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the power distribution center failed. The vehicle was repaired back in November of 2015 for the same failure. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 38,000.
The power distribution center (pdc), shifter, parking break, transmission wire, power train, and engine stopped working on 12/05/15. The care completely shut down. I had it towed to a local dealer on 12/7/15. The worked on it all week through 12/10/15. The called me and told me everything was fixed. I came to pick it up, and I drove it back to work, to the store, then back home where it was parked over night. I wake up this morning to go to work and drop my girls off at school and the same thing happens. The car will not start, the brake is tight, the system is not detecting my key fob, and the care jerks a little bit and then dies. The dash will come on but the care will not shift out of park. I have it towed back to the dealership and they tell me "it worked last yesterday once we finished repairs. ' I'm frustrated and made because I only received notification that 2 weeks ago that my car was up for a recall. Then the dealer's service department tell me it's under 2-3 recalls. My insurance will provide a rental car. However, since this is mechanical and not due to an accident I can't get a rental. I call the dealer to request a loaner car, and they tell me that Chrysler only provides them with five loaner cars, and they are currently being used for higher priority customers who major engine or transmission problems. If I read this one recall correct, one of the issues can cause me to hurt myself or others in a bad accident it this issue is not correct. To top it off they won't even provide me with a loaner car until they fix a problem that was caused in the manufacturing process. Chrysler tells me that they don't usually replace cars, as they probably will only make repairs to fix the problem. The dealer here tells me that the recalls were made in February 2015. Why wasn't I notified until recently. I could have seriously injured myself and my family. Very unhappy!.
Friday: while wife was driving the car suddenly vibrated and stalled. The vehicle indicated it was still running even though it was off. Was unable to shut off completely for a few minutes, after about 10 minutes car restarted, check engine light remained on. Dealer said to continue to drive. Engine light went off over the weekend. Sunday: driving at approximately 25 miles per hour car suddenly stalled and we were able to coast to side of road. Car indicated it was still on and running even though it was off. Was able to put car in park and eventually shut it off. Car would not restart. Car would not change gears, so unable to put it in neutral when tow arrived. Towed to dealer and they held it until Friday. Said that the pins in the power distribution center were loose and that was the problem. Friday: picked car up from dealer, wife drove it less than 1 mile and it stalled and shut off again in an intersection. After approximately 10 minutes the car restarted. Is now back at the dealer.
After having an issue with the vehicle starting and receiving a jumpstart, I was bringing the car to the dealership to be repaired. The vehicles engine suddenly stopped whilst I was on a crowded road during rush hour. I had no ability to accelerate, nor enough motion to get to parking lot. I was forced to stop in a right hand turn lane. I was instructed to put the vehicle in park, and restart. At this time the vehicle did not restart and I called my insurance company to request a tow, and police assistance to increase the visibility of my vehicle and to keep traffic away to prevent an accident. At this time, the dealership has stated that there were no error codes showing, and that the day following this incident the car started fine. I am concerned that since this is a vehicle that is a fresh redesign that not all of the major issues were caught before deploying the vehicle on the road. I do not feel safe driving this vehicle without an explanation for what happened, and how it was fixed.
