My car is stuck in drive but won't let me turn my shifter to park. It will not start and I have to undo the battery to get it to shut off . But it won't cranck. It sometimes will slow down for no reason and speed up without me even pressing the gas. My shock absorbers look like they are almost off the coil over spring. My lights in my car. Sometimes work and sometimes don't. My headlights won't turn on sometimes. I have to kill the car and rest the system on my radio . My radio just started working last week for the first time since I got it and I have had it since October 2024. Bunch more problems . My service brake light and service airbags lights never go off. . My engine lights never goes off. My tires sensors never pick up. My car is currently sitting in a parking lot and since I can't drive it bc it won't shift into park the battery has been stolen and also something has happened to my windshield. I’m writing to report a recurring issue with the catalytic converter on my vehicle. I find it extremely frustrating—and financially burdensome—to face potentially thousands of dollars in repairs again for what seems to be a recurring, possibly faulty issue. The check engine light activated, prompting me to pull over immediately and have the vehicle towed. The diagnosis indicated a misfire, which is a known issue acknowledged by the manufacturer. However, the dealer has now stated that the vehicle requires a new engine, despite the absence of any prior warning signs. Refer to TSB 1022106 and additional service communications brought forth by Chrysler to NHTSA. There was absolutely no prior warning of this to me.

When not coming to a complete stop for at least 5 seconds and trying to get going again the car bogs down / hesitates almost feels like it has stalled for around 3 to 5 seconds then lurches forward and engine continues to rev even after accelerator has been released. For example coming up to a red light that turns green before you finish stopping, yield signs or slowing into a turn lane and trying to get across on-coming traffic. It is extremely dangerous and seriously needs to be looked into. I have seen several complaints about this. This is very common and needs to be fixed. This is also reoccurring problem that happens in these situations every time.

I took my car in to get my recalls fixed and they are not fixed yet they claim to be fixed on record. One is a transmission sensor and the other is electrical. The issue I am having is my car is shutting off the power to the engine while driving. This is causing serious issues when driving on busy highways and other roadways. I am terrified of my engine stopping on the interstate and getting hit by other car due to being unable to drive my car. This instance has happened once where my engine has stopped randomly while on the highway. The other issue is it will not start, there is an issue with the electrical not sending information over to my cars computer to start it. I have been left stranded late after work some days or unable to drive my car at all. The dealership claims all recalls have been fixed but after going to (2) different places they do not assume they have been fixed due to this being the only cause for this issue to be happening still. The code my car is reading is the p0335 sensor which has been replaced * I did witness a new one being put and throwing a check engine light.

Have to add oil between oil changes because the vehicle is consuming a lot of oil. It has been inspected with no oil leaks. Spoke with clovis Chrysler and told vehicle is not under recall and I’m over the warranty range. Their answer is to replace engine. Chrysler needs to address this issue.

I had just purchased my vehicle on 03/06/2024. A few days after purchasing my vehicle, the check engine light came on. I took it to autozone to get the check engine light code read and see what the issue was. The code showed a cylinder 4 misfire. I purchased and replaced replaced the spark plugs, egnition coils, a sensor and cleaner for fuel injectors and throttle body. After I replaced the different parts, it was still showing the check engine light. I took it to bi o tires and they had the code read and told me it had a cylinder 4 misfire. They told me to take it to tunex because they were not able to fix it there. I took it to tunex and they did a diagnostic to see the reason it was misfiring and told me that the car wasn't misfiring and that the vehicle was fine. They turn the check engine light off and after a couple of days the check engine light came on. I took it to the Chrysler dealership to get it checked, they told me that they were going to check it and fix a recall issue on it, and that if the check engine light came on, they didn't know what to do. The check engine light is back on.

The car keeps acting like it goes in to neutral and cuts out all the time sensors keep popping up saying engine is overheating engine temperature sensor the check engine light keeps popping up and the engine temperature thing keeps going away.

I was driving down the road and my car stalled and completely shut off power steering went out as well come to find out it had a recall for the issue but cannot seem to see if it was ever fixed and can not see that it fixed or not or if it would be covered under the recall as it was recalled in 2015.

I was barely coming off of the freeway during traffic hour when my dashboard randomly indicated to shift into parking gear, which I did, and then the car turned off on me right before at the top of a downhill. My car cut off right as I was stopping at a stop sign. It wouldn't even let me turn off the car to try and restart. I couldn't steer the car either. It took a minute and then I was able to turn it off and then restart it. By the time I got to the third stop sign it cutoff again. The second time around it read to shift to park before restarting. Thank god I was in my subdivision! there was no warning or check e gone light on either. Please help! more importantly my airbag light is on again. I've even had my airbag replaced by Chrysler last year. This had been a recurring problem since I bought the car. I reported it back in 2016 as well. The car gives an error message of "engine warming wait to start" it will not crank. I've spent money for a new battery and a starter and it wasn't the fix. Hundreds of other consumers have reported this issue in online forums and to the maker and still no resolve. They stopped production of the car for this reason. Something has to be done.

Vehicle leaking oil badly and continuously overheating. Vehicle shut off on me in traffic with my child in car. Oil in coolant reservoir. Mechanic could not figure out where oil was coming from, nor why it was in my reservoir. While checking vehicle it started overheating badly and mechanic severely burned (injury)! find that it is the oil filter housing/oil cooler. This is a serious hazard. It’s bad enough the vehicle continues to stall out and has even stall out while on the highway. Vehicle still in shop. Will not be buying another Chrysler ever.

This car is totally unsafe and is going to cause serious injury. When initially trying to accelerate this car jerks uncontrollably and doesn’t go. It stalls something serious then all of a sudden propels itself forward into traffic!!! making other ppl swerve around me frantically. Not to mention when coming to a stop it often cuts off due to something being wrong with the oil system causing it to burn too much oil. I’ve never had a car that I had to put oil in continuously even though my oil changes (via Chrysler) are on time. Horrible thing is Chrysler says they know the car does this but won’t fix it!!! this lemon is going to take me out.

The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that it was a known failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 83,000.
