Engine Stall problems of the 2015 Chrysler 200

Engine tends to stall out when making sharp right turns. Has happened 2 times now, luckily I was near a vacant parking lot to stop the vehicle and restart. Once stopped and in park, engine hesitates to start then drives as if nothing has happened. No engine codes, warning lights, or auras to give sight to a potential problem.

After starting car and driving for a few hundred feet, battery light will flash and then engine will stall out in the middle of the road the message "shift vehicle to park (p)" will also appear on the dash. After shifting to park and turning off, the engine will not turn over for several minutes. The battery light does not come on any other time and the battery was recently changed.

Driving 55 mph engine stalls ,battery light came on,transmission shifting info center coming on,stall and setting still.

When coming to a stop or accelerating from a complete stop either turning or straight, the engine stalls without warning & there is no power steering or momentum to safely pull over. I have been stuck with hazards on at neighborhood stop signs, in stopped traffic after the light turns green, freeway on ramps, in the center of small & large intersections blocking traffic, on railroad tracks, & more. It can take up to 3 tries for the engine to restart. Obviously this is extremely unsafe, & I do not believe that I should be stuck in an intersection because a newer car with such low miles dies every day, often several times a day. In addition, the transmission is very jerky & the engine does not run smoothly once it restarts. That also happens occasionally upon the first start of the day. I do not understand why my vehicle was not included in the recall for this exact issue. I do have videos of this, but can not upload them. The date below is the date of one of the videos, this problem occurs daily & has been for several weeks. After purchasing the car, there were a few incidents months apart, then it became more frequent, & for the last several weeks it is a daily occurrence.

When engine is cold it stalls repeatedly when I slow down, stop, turn a corner or accelerate. Car is fine when it is hot but I can't always let it warm up for 10 minutes before driving. This morning was the worst when I pulled out of my subdivision and it stalled in the middle of the road with oncoming traffic having to slam on their brakes to avoid hitting me. This is going to get me killed.

The car engine keeps on stalling while it is in motion. The car suddenly stops while I am driving it. There are no warning lights, visual cues or sounds to indicate any problem. As a result, the car's power steering becomes inoperable. The speed of the car varies at the time of each incident. Each time this incident has happened, the car has become disabled in the middle of the street. There have been 5 incidents this past month. So far, the car has been able to restart after putting the car in park and after a couple of attempts of pushing the start button along with stepping on the brakes. It usually takes a couple of minutes. During that time, my car is in the middle of the street and in traffic. I have had my children in the car during some of these incidents. It is an extreme safety risk.

When the vehicle comes to rest at a stop light or sign and I try to pull out, a warning light flashes, the engine stalls and the message says to put engine in park. When I am finally able to release my foot from the brake and power the car off and try to restart, it tries, but fails at least two times before working the third time.

When I am in drive and turn a corner onto an uphill street, my car's bell sounds and the dash readout says "press ok for kmh" then the engine cuts out and the car stalls. It will restart after a couple attempts. This has happened several times over the course of a couple days. The car is still under warranty, but a dealership won't be able to fit it in for two weeks. I have appealed to Chrysler in two separate phone calls, but they have been unhelpful and will not agree to reimburse costs if I go elsewhere.

Engine stalls/cuts off at any moment without any signs or warnings. The issue happened for the first time in July 2016 and the car was with dealership for about a month. They gave back the car 3 times without proper diagnosis and it kept stalling at different times. They mentioned that the recall which was performed in June was not done properly. 2017, I went in for another recall and just after a month again in June 2017 I am having this issue again. The engine stalled on me when I was on first lane on freeway, again a risk experience. The car is with dealership since last 15 days and they are also able to recreate the issue. There is something really wrong with this year's model and I have seen other complaints as well from other owners. I am selling this car as soon as this is fixed.

I was on the highway and the car stalled several times. I sat on the side lane and turned the car off for a minute. I started it up again and proceeded to get off the highway the car accelerated less than 20 miles per hour. My daughter and I were terrified before the car stopped suddenly and cars had to break behind us to avoid hitting the car. I had to put the car in park and put my hazard lights on and it took a while for the car to start up again for me to pull on the side of the highway. It has done this more than just this incident. At stop lights and while driving on the street the engine will stall and take a minute to start up again.

The car stalls on my wife every day. She sitting at light or sitting in traffic. You can be driving on the freeway and without warning it cuts off. I am now the only Chrysler owner that is having this issue. This is going to cause a really bad accident, or maybe someone dieing dealing with this issue. I have been calling so see if there is a recall. I saw something on google and said there is a recall but when I call the dealer ship they say there is no recall. What is it going to take for us to get a recall on the 2015 Chrysler 200's engine stalling problem. This started happen back in October 2016.

Engine stall , would not allow to shift the car gears. My wife was so scared and frustrated as well because of ongoing traffic and with our childrens in the car.

At the time of incident, the car was 11 months old. I was driving at 50 mph when the engine stalled and would not start again. It shook and sputtered continuously when attempting to start. I had the vehicle towed to the nearest dealership. It was returned to me after one day of repairs. I drove six miles and parked at a shopping center. It was life-threatening, and it would be even more so had I been driving at freeway speeds or parked in dangerous surroundings.

Pulled out of my parking spot and engine stalled and shut off said to put in park and it struggled to turn over, then drove down the road and stalled again happened about 6-7 times already also happened to me 3 times within 5 mins.

While driving car home on my first day from the dealer the engine stalled at 40 mph I was able to pull over and re-start the car, start driving again thinking nothing of it it stalled again and again 2 blocks from home. Next morning bringing back to dealer it stalled 3 times on reverse getting out of driveway. Only 100 miles on new car and it's at the dealer for major issue, I do not feel comfortable driving the car special with my 5 year daughter in it.
