Tl- the contact owns a 2008 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that when turning the key into the ignition switch, the vehicle failed to start. In addition, the instrument panel failed. The failure occurred intermittently. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who replaced and reprogrammed the key but the failure recurred. The contact stated that NHTSA campaign number: 14v567000 (electrical system) had exceeded a reasonable amount of time. The dealer stated a remedy has yet to been determined. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 53,000. Djr.
