1 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem of the 2015 Chrysler 300

Failure Date: 04/18/2016

I purchased a 2015 Chrysler 300 in may of 2015 brand new; on April 18,2016 I swerved to keep from hitting a deer in which the vehicle rolled over twice. I contacted Chrysler about the concern of the airbags not imploding. The vehicle has been classified as 'totaled. ' I knew before I had even contacted the manufacturer, that they would use the sensors as not having any problems. I think that Chrysler should at least offer me some type of compensation for what this vehicle cost; a life could have been lost (something that you can't replace) don't you agree that some type of compensation should be given?.

My car is a lemon and I want to be refunded, either a new car or my $25,000 cash that I paid for the car in 2010. Now my car is being recalled for dangerous air bags!!! also all of my tire pressure sensors are defective. My car's brakes are warped! on a highway in motion my brakes make noise and the steering wheel shakes! the tire pressure sensor light stays on and doesn't go out on the dashboard.

4 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem of the 2012 Chrysler 300

Failure Date: 04/07/2015

Our vehicle was involved in a two vehicle collision. The entire front on my car was smashed, with the hood pushed up into the windshield, breaking the glass into pieces that were visible on the interior dashboard. Not a single airbag deployed. My neck and left acl were both injured in the collision. I was told that Chrysler will not be held accountable for their defective airbag sensors because I did not suffer more serious injuries. My 7 month old infant was in a fairly expensive 5-point-harness carseat, which possibly saved his life. Chrysler needs to be held accountable for their defective airbag sensors before someone loses their life due to Chrysler's poor sensory designs.

5 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem of the 2011 Chrysler 300

Failure Date: 05/15/2014

Tl- the contact owns a 2011 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that with no warning the alternator assembly failed twice. The vehicle was taken to a repair shop who replaced the alternator assembly and the failure recurred. The first time the instrument cluster indicated a system shut down and all of the gages, warning lamps and sensors flickeded as well as they failed to work. The second time the failure recurred the contact was pulling out to enter a major roadway and various gages on the dashboard flickered. The contact indicated that months later, after the second alternator assembly was replaced there was a ticking noise progressing each time the vehicle was driven. The contact was included in NHTSA campaign id number: 14v634000 (electrical system) and tried to schedule the recall repair months ago before the failure occured, but the dealer indicated that the part was not available within a reasonable timeframe. The contact was still waiting for the oem part from the dealer to schedule the recall repair and was also waiting for the recall repair on NHTSA campaign id number: 13v118000 (air bags). The dealer was unable to determine when the recall repairs would be performed. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The approximate failure mileage was not available. Dyd.

6 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem of the 2005 Chrysler 300

Failure Date: 08/31/2005

Ever since I purchased my 2005 Chrysler 300 there has been a recurring air bag light issue. I had the seat sensor replaced under warranty at a local dealership, but this did not fix the problem. I took the car back several times, but I was told that it had been fixed and there was nothing else they could do. I also called Chrysler and voiced my concern over this issue. I stated that I was concerned that the air bag would not deploy if the car is in an accident. Chrysler basically told us that the sensor had been replaced so there was nothing else they could do. I told them that if I was ever in an accident and the passenger air bag did not deploy, I would file a lawsuit against them. I have seen similar complaints regarding this issue. Why is this problem not being addressed. There should be a recall to fix this before somebody gets seriously hurt!.

The car has been in repair shop 7 times for the air bag light being on. Dealer claimed air bag light was fixed. But as soon as the consumer left the dealership the light came back on.
