I think that’s it’s appalling that the NHTSA cannot put more pressure on Chrysler to figure out a faster way to fix this deadly defect that is killing people. How long am I expected to wait for this repair? what liability does Chrysler have if I get into an accident and am injured by shrapnel from the air bag igniter. I thought that the NHTSA is there to protect the public. The mission of the NHTSA is to "save lives, prevent injuries and reduce economic costs due to road traffic crashes, through education, research, safety standards and enforcement activity. " I believe that you and Chrysler have both failed.
