2 Power Train problem of the 2007 Chrysler 300C

Failure Date: 09/20/2024

Unknown, but based on what I've read and seen others describe happen to them I would say it's somehow connected to the park assist. But my battery loses voltage while driving, the car will start blowing hot or cold air which ever it prefers at the time without any heating or cooling system being turned on, the dash goes crazy the rpms, speedometer and everything else will drop to zero the transmission will start jerking and the service park assist warning will flash on and off repeatedly very fast then the car died while driving on the highway and refused to start even with a jump start. Replaced the battery twice in 2 weeks and the alternator as well and the car continues to do this randomly. No codes show up but the abs light, esp bas lights are on, the brake light will come on every now and then without the brake being pressed and the car seriously just seems to have a mind of it's own.

Vehicle stalls when idling or coming to a stop, mainly at low rpm. No codes are thrown. Gas tank has been replaced and fuel pump is new, still stalls. There are many reports on the Chrysler 300 forum regarding the same situation. Many people have thrown good money after bad towards parts and still there's issues. I have my car at the moss bros dealership in riverside CA. Now for 5 days to try and repair this safety issue! 3/28/23. Car has stalled approximately 20 times, 4 times which were on the freeway. The car will start up and run fine for several days and then it acts up. Could be a number of things, but with no codes, pretty hard to diagnose the stalling issue.

5 Power Train problem of the 2005 Chrysler 300C

Failure Date: 07/24/2022

When the fuel tank is topped off the vehicle stalls 2-6 times until the excess fuel is burned off. This has happened on the road, in parking lots, intersections, etc. It causes total loss of power & power steering. Additionally, I usually have to shift to park, neutral, reverse, drive, reverse, and then drive again in order to get the transmission to lock back in forward gearing. When in park my vehicle rolled backwards to the bottom of my driveway. I was able to make it happen multiple times. I was able to have my wife record it on video from both sides of the vehicle. It happened when parking partially on ice. The passenger rear tire turned against the roll of the vehicle. All 3 other tires rolled with the vehicle. My vehicle has the hemi 5. 7l, 5 spd transmission, awd, and my shifter is not the dial type but a regular shifter type. Is the passenger rear tire the only one that keeps the vehicle from rolling rearward while in park? I can provide the video evidence.

19 Power Train problem of the 2013 Chrysler 300C

Failure Date: 11/20/2018

On more than 20 occasions, while traveling at speeds in excess of 60 mph, the vehicle abruptly shuts off. Everything is completely off. Engine, powertrain, power steering and power brakes. Sometimes there's a warning light that flashes after the shut down that looks like a reddish orange sideways z lighting bolt. The check engine goes on sometimes and other times it does not. When it goes on it sometimes stays on and sometimes it disappears. I've had 2 Chrysler dealers and 1 independent mechanic run diagnostics and no one can pinpoint the problem. So far, I've replaced the throttle body, hanged the transmission fluid and pan, and had the fuel system cleaned. I'm being told that maybe it's the fuel pump or the power train control module. The shit has only occurred at highway speeds so far. Thankfully, I've been able to pull off on the shoulder every time. That may because I avoid roads with no shoulders and only drive in the right hand lane. This is obviously a very dangerous situation and has rendered the vehicle unsafe for highway driving. I've discovered a current Chrysler recall, u87 that appears to be exactly my symptoms, but my Chrysler dealer could not find a code that proved it.

20 Power Train problem of the 2007 Chrysler 300C

Failure Date: 07/12/2018

Came out of the store to start the car. It wouldn't start. Engine made a coins shaking in can noise. Had towed to a service center, they asked if it had overheated, I said no because it hadn't shown any signs it had. They said it got so hot things melted and valve seats and pistons were ruined. I've read about Dodge Jeep and Chrysler hemi 5. 7s and valve seats and many people had this exact same problem with no sure reason as to why. I believe there is some defect in the engine itself causing this and extended warranty's won't cover claiming because valve seats aren't an internally lubricated part or some bs reason. Needs immediately looked into I'm about to lose my car over it!.

2006 Chrysler 300c | engine stall while driving | possibly tipm-related I purchased my 2006 Chrysler 300c just short of 6 months ago. Within the first week, as I was taking a left hand turn the ignition completely shut off. While the power was still active, I could not drive the car until I turned over the vehicle to restart the car. Thinking it was possibly a fringe issue I ignored to issue. Fast forwarding to today, my wife and I have experienced roughly 25-50 occurrences of the vehicle shutting off while the vehicle was in motion.
