The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300c which was purchased in June 2007. During routine maintenance on the vehicle, the left outer tie rod was loose and the dealer made repairs accordingly. Within the next 3,000 miles, during a routine maintenance check, the contact requested that the dealer inspect the left and right outer tie rod for general purposes. The dealer confirmed that the right tie rod was also defective. The tie rods were inspected a second time and the dealer found the left tie rod was loose. The tie rods were replaced a third time. There were no related recalls. The failure mileage was 24,890. The current mileage was 34,000. Updated 03/04/10 transmission fluid was leaking. The dealer replaced the plug adapter. Updated 07/08/10.
