1 Transmission Not Go Into Gear problem of the 2007 Chrysler 300C

Failure Date: 07/03/2017

Car operated as expected on 7/2 and was parked in garage overnight. On 7/3 operator was able to start the car but operator could not shift out of park. The car is stuck in park and cannot be shifted into another gear. There is a current recall for this exact same issues for cars with a build date from June 25, 2007 through September 21, 2007. This recall is named k39, and the letter is attached. The build date of my car with the same problem is October 11, 2006. The suggested override method did not resolve the issue (depressing pink lever on shifter assembly).

2 Transmission Not Go Into Gear problem of the 2005 Chrysler 300C

Failure Date: 08/30/2014

On satot having be. 8/30/14 my 300c was parked in the garage. I not used the care to go to my veterans hospital appointments and could not go because I could not get the gear shifter out of park! I had to call usaa for a tow on a flatbed truck to darcars Chrysler waldorf,MD who has maintained his car for many years. I was told by the ice manager that the problem was a pink plastic piece in the center counsel and its spring that failed, and is a common occurance in this vehicle leaving it unable to move at all-trasmission and rear wheels locked by shifter. I checked your pages for recalls and I saw two recent ones of the same car/style/yearas mine. I need my car it has veterans "dv' plates as I am totally combat wounded and disabled. I think Chrysler must pay for this repair as it is their fault, they knew it for years, and I am thinkming of filing a federal court class action under 28 usc in . Md as was against gm and Ford.

3 Transmission Not Go Into Gear problem of the 2006 Chrysler 300C

Failure Date: 09/22/2013

I filled up my Chrysler 300 just after buying it for the first time. After fill up I pulled away from the gas station and got to the stop light and it stalled. I restarted it and it would not go into gear at first but after a minute it did. Went for about hundred feet and it stalled again in front of my house. Then the next morning it ran fine until I filled it up again and it did the same thing stalled right after I filled it with gas I checked with the local dealer and they said they are aware of this problem and that it is an issue with the design of the gas tank and purge valve that only can be corrected by replacement of the fuel tank. I checked online and this an issue has happened for many owners and they have been told the same thing by there dealers. It is a factory design error that only be corrected by the fuel tank replacement as well as the purge valve. The reason it stalls is that when filled up the tank and purge vale floods the throttle body with raw fuel and the car stalls this stalling can cause an accident very easy as well as effecting the emissions of the vehicle. I feel that Chrysler should issue a recall for this defect which I understand has effected the Dodge charger as well as the challenger.

4 Transmission Not Go Into Gear problem of the 2007 Chrysler 300C

Failure Date: 02/04/2013

The shift level is stuck in park. With the brake pressed, it will move right but not down into gear. If I take my foot off the brake, it will not move to the right at all. The recognition of the brake be depressed appears to be working. I was 120 miles from home so I took the console apart around the gear shifter and found a cable that I could pull backwards and then was able to shift out of park.

5 Transmission Not Go Into Gear problem of the 2006 Chrysler 300C

Failure Date: 12/25/2011

On christmas day, went to visit relatives in another state, parked car in a public parking lot, returned late at night to go home, car would not shift into gear. Had to have car towed back to my state to mechanic, found out something the size of a "false finger nail" broke off inside. A small piece that looked like a woman's false nail painted pink costs me close to $1,000. 00 between towing, buying the entire part since you cannot replace the pink "false nail", labor, transportation etc. Why would Chrysler make a car that they advertise as luxury and use a plastic piece as a component in it? the Chrysler 300c, looks good from far, but it is far from good!.
