When the contact depressed the accelerator pedal again, the vehicle returned to normal. The vehicle was taken to victor Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram (6560 anthony dr, victor, NY 14564, (585) 381-5337) to be diagnosed, but a failure was not located. The failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 1,200.

We bought the car as a certified used car from a dealership in February, 2019. The car is a 2018, and had 22,000 miles at time of purchase. The car first stalled in late March, 2019. It stalled while at a red light, and cars had to be directed around the car. My child was in the car with me at the time. An error message appeared with something regarding the stability control. Since that first time, the car has stalled at a light 2 more times. We are bringing the car back to the dealer for service. When we called to let the dealer know the issue, they said they've never heard of this happening. I find that hard to believe with so many similar complaints. I am very concerned that this is a known issue that is not being addressed.

Vehicle stalled multiple times requiring shift to park and manual restart. Vehicle was at idle in left turn lane of major city road with 4 occupants. Vehicle has stalled at low speed in parking lot immediately after stating to move from a stop with 4 occupants.

On several occasions while driving, the vehicle has stalled. Forcing us to put the car in park and restart the engine. This has happened pulling into busy intersections and once occurred on train tracks. My wife and I are afraid to drive our brand new Mini van.

Intermittently when stopped , the car stalls. Messages flash saying "fcw unavailable" and "acc unavailable" "lanesense unavailable" service required. The car has to be restarted. I have had it at dealer several times and they cannot fix. It's dangerous as I have almost been rear ended at stop signs or stop lights since it's stalled. I happens usually right after stopping. There is no pattern but happens about 25% of the time I am driving.

On multiple occasions the vehicle has stalled out while waiting for stop lights and just in a stopped position. In order to restart the vehicle it had to be placed in park. It does start immediately however is a serious safety concern leaving us to wonder if this will occur during actual driving.

Pacifica was coming to a stop after a military checkpoint and the vehicle stalled while coming to a stop. The speed was less than 30 miles per hour the vehicle showed a service electronic suspension and needed to be placed in park to restart. It did restart immediately.

Van will stall during low speed or idle. Stability/traction control will flash and van will need to be restarted. Has happened multiple times in intersections and once in stop and go highway traffic.

When driving the van turned off completely & shut down in traffic. Had to put it in park and restart the van then the van was stalling and did not run normal it was pulling like it was going to die again. In motion on the highway was scared had my 3 kids with me. This is not the first time that the van felt that it was going to die. Week before it didn't want to get speeding while trying to enter the free way. It slowed down then caught speed.

Our 2017 Chrysler Pacifica has been jerking into gear and won't accelerate and then after a few moments, it does. The jerking feels as if someone just hit you from behind and you stall before being able to accelerate. This always happened while in motion flat road, incline, or down hill. When we called the dealership and took it in and informed them of the issue, they said they didn't see a problem. Now, we have an unknown message that says "service shifter". This came after the van was sitting and we got in to start the vehicle. It wouldn't start. Had to wait for a tow. The power windows, doors, hatch won't work but the radio and communications systems work fine.

2017 Chrysler Pacifica. Consumer writes in regards to stalling engine. The consumer stated the vehicle would nearly stall and then lunge forward while being driven. The dealer and manufacturer were made aware of the failure. The dealer updated the vehicle software but, the failure persisted. The manufacturer had not responded to the consumer's complaint.

The car stalls while driving. This continues to occur after the NHTSA recall 18v-332 has been completed. The dealer cannot reproduce the problem.

Tl the contact owns a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. After accelerating into an intersection, the vehicle suddenly stalled and "shift to park" displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was able to restart and was later towed to an unknown dealer. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was not notified. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was 24,000.

The engine start/stop feature of this van is faulty and Chrysler knows it. Because they do not have a fix for this issue they cannot place a recall. This issue is not limited to my personal van. Our particular vehicle has less than 13,000 miles and has been in the service department 5 times. 3 for the same issue. We have stalled out in intersections 4 times. One time we (wife and children) were almost struck by a truck. This is a serious safety issue. Again Chrysler is aware and only offered an extended service agreement.

While driving my 2018 Pacifica in 45 mph traffic on a local road, the car flashed �stability control� and lost all power. The brakes went hard, the car completely stalled. The display read �stability control� then disappeared from the screen and it instructed me to put car in park and to restart the car. The second time this happened I was driving 50 mph on a state highway slowing to make a left turn when the vehicle did the exact same thing as stated above.

Third post of same complaint. Coming from turns or when shifting in low speed, the vehicle randomly stalls upon acceleration then slams into gear, causing the entire vehicle to jolt. Have taken van to original purchasing dealership multiple times (10+) in the past year and a half, and have been told that they cannot find a problem. This category has the most complaints on the NHTSA website all of very similar issue � something must be done from Chrysler.

While stopped at a red light, and the auto shut off feature shut the car off, the vehicle would not start up again. This caused the car to be stalled out in middle of the road on a city street. Only a few minutes later did the car start up again.

Random stalling w/ all functions stopping. Brakes, steering. . Ect. Took it to several licensed/certified mechanics and not 1 of them can tell me what is wrong. This has nearly caused 2 serious crashes so I no longer allow anyone to ride in the car with me. The stalling has happened on the highway going nearly 70mph, on a 2 lane highway through town with heavy traffic going approx. 35 mph, its happened in my neighborhood street, on the way home from work on a country road (several times). The vehicle hasn't ever stalled while running and stationary. For me this has only happened while in motion.

The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to a local auto shop where the contact was informed that the wiring harness was burnt, but it was not determined if that caused the failure. The vehicle was repaired again. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 44,000.

An independent mechanic stated that the horn was built without a fuse and that one needed to be installed. While driving at an unknown speed, the vehicle lost power without warning. The vehicle was taken to dadeland Chrysler Dodge (16501 s dixie hwy, miami, FL 33157), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was informed and assigned a technician. The failure was escalated to a higher office of the dealer. The failure mileage was 18,600.

I have experienced my 2018 Chrysler Pacifica stalling at varying speeds, including while idling, making turns and traveling under 40 miles per hour on municipal roads. When it does stall out, the dash displays �electronic stability control. Requires restart. � I have almost been in multiple accidents due to this issue. I have brought it up with the dealership and they have said Chrysler does not have a fix for it.

We have a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica tourling l-plus that had a recent software update, all recalls have been completed. The van fully stalled while accelerated in the highway between 30-40 miles per hour, for about 5 seconds before re-engaging into gear. It did not feel like it was in between gears when it stalled- as far as we could tell, the engine still had power but temporarily stopped accelerating.

The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica touring plus with all the latest known software recalls up to date as of 8/22/2018 experienced a full stall while under wide open throttle and attempting to enter a highway on ramp. The stall seemed like a transmission lag, shifting delay or lack of response. The engine from 0-20 mph had plenty of power (rpm's); then when switching gears it seems the power was cut for a full 3-5 seconds while the transmission made a shift and only after letting off the accelerator (even though there were 0 rpms) did it finally kick into motion again and pull out of the stall. The systems auto stop was disabled via the override button on the dashboard when this occurred and the gas tank was 40% full.

The vehicle was restarted and operated normally. The contact called a local dealer (route 46 Chrysler Jeep Dodge, 1655 route 46, little falls, NJ, (888) 296-4062) and schedulded a service appointment. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified and provided case number: 34962584, but no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 17,900.

The start/stop fuel economy system does not work. I have taken it to the shop 3 times to get this repaired. Once to have them identify the problem, then order replacement battery. Twice a new battery has been installed and the system still does not work. I have approximately 3000 miles on this vehicle and it has never worked after the initial test drive. The dash board gives various reasons why it can't work but none of these conditions or situations but none seem related to actual, current operation of the car: engine is not warmed up or the steering wheel turned to sharply. I purchased the vehicle with 60 miles on the odometer in August 2018.

Also, while driving 30 mph, the steering seized and the vehicle rolled to a complete stop in the middle of the road. Also, "start stop required" appeared on the instrument panel. Autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram southwest (7980 w tufts Ave, littleton, CO 80123, (303) 578-6099) stated that they would have to test drive the vehicle and try to replicate the failure. If they could not diagnose it in two days, they would have to return the vehicle to the contact . The manufacturer was called and immediately transferred the contact back to the dealer. The failure mileage was 8,000.

The vehicle was in motion at ~30 mph when it stalled in the middle of the road. It took several minutes before it would restart by pushing the ignition button. The vehicle had the 2018 stall recall software update installed months before this occurred. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, but the dealer could not replicate the problem, so they told me to come pick up the vehicle.

Vehicle stalls while driving. Braking and vehicle keeps going and or accelerating and vehicle does not even move. Hard shifting when hot and cold. Also vehicle has had multiple shifter issues and will not start this has happened on city streets and x on the highway.

Tl- the contact owns a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that while driving approximate 55 mph in the rain the dashboard instrument panel lights and the abs sensor light began to flash off and on and the windshield wipers stop working before the vehicle suddenly jolted forward and stalled. The next day after restarting the engine the vehicle operated as normal. The cause of the failure was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer and local dealer was not notified. The failure mileage was 150,000. Jft.

6/20 the engine light came on. The dealership claimed that they performed the dtc inspection and a system update (to prevent vehicle from stalling). The vehicle was returned on 6/23 and it broke down on 6/24. The car went from 10mph to 43 mph when pressing on the gas and then instantly stopped at around 10mph. The vehicle turned off and was unable to start and had to be towed back to the dealership. I hit a curb and if I was not an experienced driver I could have killed someone or myself or my 3 children could have been harmed if they were in the vehicle. I have provided a video of the incident on my youtube and the documentation from what the dealership said they performed on the vehicle. This car needs to be recalled and off of the road. Please save lives because this was very scary and I fear getting back into the vehicle if they fix it. I do not want it back. I want safety for my children and myself. I owned Chrysler Pacifica van 2017 for about a year now, it is keeps stalling while driving, so far it had happened to me 6 times, it is very scary, I don't feel safe. Imagine you are crossing the intersection and your car stalls in the middle of two way traffic! I took it to the local dealer where I bought it and they haven't been able to figure it out. All recalls were done. They know I keep having this issue with my van because every visit for service I keep telling them about it and I get ignored, they don't even make any notes in my file and every time I talk about it with the service man he pretends like it is the first time he hears about it. I do not know what else to do and I do know I'm not the only one who's van stalls, it is a safety issue that needs to be resolved by Chrysler.

The vehicle was not repaired; however, the dealer replaced the start and stop engine battery. The failure was not remedied. The dealer also test drove the vehicle and was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted. The failure mileage was 3,000.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer naples Chrysler/Jeep/ram 6381 airport pulling road north, naples florida 34109,. The vehicle still at the dealer no diagnosis was render.
