Purchased 2007 Sebring base model one month ago. Had dealership complete all recalls before purchase. Tail lights attached to the upper portion of the truck flooded/filled with water anytime there was rain and when you open the trunk it dumps the water on your head. All 3 break light seals were replaced and plugs removed to allow better drainage - issue resolved. Emergency break light intermittently illuminates while driving - emerg break is off and new breaks installed issue still unresolved. Delayed auto off headlights did not shut off. Returned to vehicle 2 hours later with daytime running lights still on and since they are automatic there is no way to turn them off. After cycling the engine they shut off, but now fail to come on at all. In the base model there is no feature to turn them "on" or "off" - issue unresolved. The vehicle also refuses to change the setting to turn the "auto unlock" feature "on" when vehicle is put in park. This feature also refuses to work on "first unlock" on the key fob. The doors just continue to stay locked - issue unresolved. I hope mine does not start shutting off on me like so many other complaints.

When it rains the back floor board on passenger side will be filled up with water I mean a puddle of water cant seem to find a leak anywhere.
I purchase this used 1999 Chrysler Sebring lxi 2 years ago and was told by the dealer it only needed a wheel alignment. After attempting to get an alignment I was informed that the lower lateral control arms needed to be replaced. This is extremely scary and very hard to get fixed because of my work schedule. I contacted a dealer and was told that my car had the recall work done in 2001. I looked my VIN up on the Chrysler website and was advised there was no recall affecting my vehicle. Firestone would have charged me over $1000 to fix the problem, but I can not afford to. My vehicle is currently undriveable. I am also having issues with my driver side door which hangs slightly when opened and must be lifted to close. My side panels on both doors keep getting dislodged but have not fell off yet. I am truly afraid for the safety of my family with this vehicle and do not know what to do. I am in the process of trying to find someone to fix at a cost I can afford.

Contact states vehicles holds water after a heavy rainstorm because the drain holes underneath the car get clogged up easily. The first time the car contained approximately 4 inches of water, the service dealer did unclog the drain holes. The second time the car contained approximately 8 inches of water, because the consumer was in the hospital he could not have the vehicle taken to the service dealer. The carpet had to be taken out of the vehicle because of the odor where the water had set for the time the consumer was in the hospital. The consumer did contact the manufacturer and they stated the complaint was not on their website so it was not considered a legitimate complaint.
Clear coat failure! car has white blemishes! needs painted to fix the problem!.

Water/rain leak excessively through the seals of my convertible. Dealership is aware of the problem and after taking the vehicle there four times for this problem, they told me that it is a convertible and it is suppose to leak. I know other people who have the same vehicle and do not have the same problem as I.
