1 Check Engine Light On problem

Failure Date: 02/05/2018

Sudden engine shutoff: the engine has started randomly shutting off at low speed, about 20 mph, causing the power steering and brakes to be lost. There are no indicator lights, check engine light, or alarms at all that come on, except for the skid warring light. There are no engine codes recorded. It is very dangerous and cannot be reproduced to be repaired. It has happened several times now, twice in one day, but usually days apart.

2 Check Engine Light On problem

Failure Date: 08/04/2014

The contact owns a 2009 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that the check engine warning light illuminated and the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was able to restart after several attempts. The failure occurred on several occasions. In addition, the contact stated that the key failed to turn in order to start the vehicle intermittently. The contact stated that the part for NHTSA campaign number: 14v373000 (electrical system) was not available to repair the vehicle. The initial failure was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 80,000.
