My van stopped at a stoplight and would not restart. It was not making any noise at this time, when it cooled down it restarted and the engine was knocking. The car then sputtered and stalled several times. No lights came on except the traction control light. My van has 132,000 miles and has gotten oil changes on time.
Tl- the contact owns a 2009 Chrysler town&country. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds,the vehicle's temperature gauge would indicated that the vehicle was hot; a pinging sound and a warning light would illuminate as the failure occurred. The contact stated that once the vehicle would signal overheating, the temperature gauge would revert back to normal and the pinging sound and the warning light would cease. The contact stated that when the contact had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic where the vehicle was diagnosed(diagnostic unknown), the vehicle had been repaired. The contact stated that despite the vehicle being repaired, the failure persisted. The manufacturer had not been notified of the failure. The vehicle had not been repaired.
