1 Engine Oil Leaking problem

Failure Date: 10/12/2015

The van ran out of oil. It was completely dry. No warning signs came on. No leaks. No smoke for the exhaust. One day it began to knock real bad and still no oil light was on. Now the van needs a new engine. This shouldn't of happened to a 2010 model with only 65k miles on it.

2 Engine Oil Leaking problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2012

The contact owns a 2010 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled numerous times while driving at various speeds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who advised that the ignition switch needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 50,000 and the current mileage was 119,000. . . . Updated 03/07/14 the motor mounts, and hub assemblies needed to be replaced. Also, the vehicle had an oil pan leak, and the heater hose failed. Updated 03/13/14.

3 Engine Oil Leaking problem

Failure Date: 03/03/2010

At zero miles, car was leaking oil. At first, Chrysler dealer claimed cracked oil pan but after replacing and leak still persisted. After returning car, it was discovered galley plug was cross threaded leading to leak. Hole had to be rethreaded and new plug inserted properly. Significant oil leak could have lead to engine damage and failure.
