1 Horn Assembly problem

Failure Date: 01/06/2019

Since purchase, the vehicle has had multiple erratic no starts, caution lights illuminate, wipers activate, horn sound off, and an array of other electrical bugs. After taking the vehicle to the dealership multiple times with could not duplicate actions, I was told that the floor mat was sticking under the pedal contacting a sensor causing the no start issues, which is documented on their service report. Since then, we have dealt with the issues as they were sporadic. Now, the no start condition has led to the replacement of the tipm unit as well as 2 fuel pumps. It was towed today for the same faulty conditions that led to the expensive repairs. While we have had issues with intermittent electrical bugs while moving, the majority of our issues have involved no movement as the most common issue is the no start condition. My vehicle has been in the shop the last 3 weeks, required two tows, and is continuously burning up fuel pumps. Chrysler has not modified/re-engineered their tipm unit according to the dealership as the part number has never changed. I am concerned that I have another faulty tipm module causing damage to my vehicle, which has decreased the reliability. All of my receipts are in the glove box of the vehicle which is sitting at the dealership, so I cannot upload the documents showing the repairs right now.

2 Horn Assembly problem

Failure Date: 10/10/2017

Car horn honks intermittently; barely touch remote and horn honks; windows also roll down when key remote is turned upside down or in layng against something or in your hand trying to unlock doors. Also, when you try to open any other doors it will sometimes just honk and lock while not opening door. First thing that happened prior to that was the driver's side lock stopped unlocking all the doors. (when I have come out from work or church or a game, my windows have been down. The only place the remote was during that time was in my purse. Please help me resolve this situation. I replaced the battery to no avail, and I just ordered a new key remote. Thank you!.

5 Horn Assembly problem

Failure Date: 12/09/2013

The head lights go out intermittently or won't come on at all. The turn signals will not work as well as the horn. Sometimes everything works and sometimes it doesn't. This is extremely dangerous while driving at night and almost caused an accident as the head lights went out while driving. I did some research online and this is a problem that many Chrysler town and country owners have reported. The issue is believed to be the tipm.

6 Horn Assembly problem

Failure Date: 09/26/2013

My Chrysler town and country 2010 van cuts off while I am driving it!!!! this has now happened 8 times! once while I was driving at 55mph!! another time I was pulling out onto the highway when my 2010 town and country van died! cars in two lanes were blaring their horns and had to swerve off the road to keep from hitting me! I took it to the Chrysler dealer where it stayed for 13 days. They could not figure out the problem but replaced the computer(pcm). Less than 48 hours later it had happened 2 more times! I returned it to the dealership where it remains now. Chrysler has given me a case number and I am hoping for answers soon. They have refused to rent me a car thus far. I cannot seem to get Chrysler to understand (or care) how dangerous this is. I don't want to die just so my husband can sue them! help.
