The contact owns a 2010 Dodge Caravan. The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 mph she noticed that the vehicle would over heat and she smelled a burning odor. The vehicle was inspected by a dealer who advised her that it would wear off in a couple of weeks; however, it has been three months and the burning odor was still present. The vehicle was inspected again by another dealer who advised her that she had weeds stuck inside the motor. The dealer removed the weeds and she continued to smell the burning odor. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 12.

2 Vehicle Overheat problem of the 1996 Dodge Caravan

Failure Date: 08/05/2002

Vehicle overheated. Took vehicle to dealership for service, and was informed that strut tower the holds engine had rusted, and could cause engine to fall.
