I was in el paso texas because my father was in the hospital when I rolled down my driver side window it wouldn't go back up. There's no further details as to why it won't go back up that's all I did was roll it down. And every since that day at least once a day when I'm turning or slowing down the car will completely turn off and go into auto park and lose all power. It also constantly says it's going an auto park when I'm on the freeway going 75 miles per hour. All of the gauges will go down to zero and back up when I'm on the freeway and it won't shut off and lock up on me but if I'm going below 20 miles an hour it will lock up on me. This happens way too often I have kids and it's very dangerous. But now my car will not start at all.

Vehicle had a multi-system failure while driving away from a parking lot. Engine did not stall at first. Initially the steering became hard from power steering loss, "service awd" light came on, "service power steering" light was next, followed by brake system failure. Car was still a little driveable and then it stalled as I was stopping. This vehicle is very dangerous. Vehicle would not restart even though the button start system was telling me to step on the brake and push start. Waited 3 hours for a capable tow truck (due to the awd). During the wait, the car's instrument panel would come alive, the panel gauges would swipe one time and various noises could be heard as if the car was starting but nothing was going on. This car is extremely dangerous.

Went to start car and it would not start. Had it towed to dealer and was told about the recall p57. Then told I had to replace the wireless ignition node. But they have no idea when the part will be in. I called the NHTSA and was told the same thing. She said she will try to expadite the process but no one seems to know when the parts are available. Also cant get a rent a car since it was not an accident and the Dodge dealership wont give me loaner car since they don't know how long it will take to get the part. This is very frustrating and unacceptable.

Had trouble starting my car when leaving work one night. The car then would not start the next day. I had it towed to the dealership where it was diagnosed to have a completely malfunctioning ignition switch and was told that the parts were on back order and he did not know when they would be available. I was then doing online research to try to find one on my own when I come across a safety recall for this exact problem. I called a number on the site about the recall and she told me my vehicle was not included in the recall because it did not fall on the right manufacturing date. I saw on that website that the recall was announced on 8-15-15. Mine completely malfunctioning two weeks later tells me there may be more to this than Dodge is aware of or, just willing to admit. I understand things break, I understand auto repairs are a part of life. But I cant stand the thought of what could of happened if it had gone out while I was driving down beltway around washington d. C. During rush hour. I saw that they said 350k vehicles were on the recall list. I think this should be investigated further. I would appreciate some sort of response to this, so I know that this was at least received.

Ignition switch stalling a couple seconds while trying to start the car was having this problem at first then the car wouldn't crank at all contacted Dodge/Chrysler they recommended that I take my vehicle to the dealership. After taking it to the dealership. After it being there for 9 days they told me that they had 0 avaliablty for the part I was needing and it could take several months before the part is avaliable so I have contacted every dealership and still nothing. There is a recall on the ignition switch for 2008 Dodge Charger but they told me its not for my VIN number. Now I'm in a situation where I have no vehicle and can't even buy or find the part to get it fixed. There were multiple Dodge Charger cars down there sitting having the same issue as me.
