My stereo, and front Charger port shuts off and on. My engine makes a ticking noise and sadly a mechanic can't find the issue, the ac is blowing cold on driver side and hot on passenger and back seat. I believe my front to wheel hubs have too much play and make noises I hit bumps. And rear brake caliper started sticking.

When I start my car I hear a ticking sound coming from my engine as I accelerate the noise become louder an faster. I was told it could possibly be my rocker arms or lifters. I've done oil changes, ignition coil replacements an spark plugs an sound continues.

Tl the contact owns a 2011 Dodge Charger. While driving at an unknown speed, there was a clicking noise coming from the instrument panel and the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The contact also detected an odor of burning oil through the vents and smoke appeared from the front passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the valve cover gasket was fractured, which caused oil to leak onto the pressure sensor switch. At 99000 miles I started hearing a slight ticking noise coming from the engine while idling. It is the 3. 6 liter vvt pentastar. The ticking is getting worse. All mechanics I've spoken to say don't run that car. I need to know what's going on and what it would take to get this issue addressed. Would this repair be covered? if not, how much does it cost? I purchased this car new in 2012. My name is wesley roy. Please get back to me ASAP because it's seems this is critical. 3375467127 in my phone number.

The car had an exhaust smell Wednesday coming through the vents. That went away. No issues with performance. Notice days after car was loud. Figured it was just warming up with cold temperature. Last night car starts no problem. Drive to a friends house was maybe in her house 7 minutes. We go to leave used the key fob to unlock the car notice inside of the car is completely black, won't start. There was a ticking noise under the hood. Windshield wipers start moving. I test the key fob not responding. Dashboard lights up, message screen is white, car puts it's self in run but engine not starting. You can move the gear to put the car in neutral. The whole time dashboard and all lights are know blinking. Turn signals are on outside but dashboard doesn't reflect. Battery tested fine. I have video of what the car is doing. They completed a recall on the alternator due to not giving enough power to the car in 2015. Hopefully that's not the problem. Will be towed tomorrow to the dealership. Unable to load the video due to recorded on my phone.

I was driving out of the gas station and the car started to stall do to a problem with the gas tank. The car would shake foward and back very hard then the engine would race almost to redline then the car would stall. It did this three times but on the third time I heard what sounded like medal hitting medal. The third time I tried to start the car and heard this loud ticking sound. I cut the car off and back on and the sound was still there. I had the car towed to the dealership and they took apart my engine to find out what the issue was. I was told that I had a rod bearing issue and my engine needed to be replaced. This is going to cost me $6300. I dont believe this is fair due to the repeated engine stalling and jumping is what caused my issue in the first place. The dealership originally told me that the stalling and jumping is the cause of my issue and because there is a warrenty on the gas tank they would replace any damage that it caused. After requesting the funds from crysler corp. The dealership stated my issue could not be caused by the jumping and stalling. I question their honesty. I called Dodge and was told that they refuse to cover any damage to my vehicle due to the milage and it cannot be proven what caused my issue even though they told me that the repeated jumping and stalling could cause this to happen.
On the day of purchase in April 2013, I observed and inquired about a ticking noise in the car's engine. The salesman stated that it was probably due for an oil change. Since then, I have had several oil changes, but the ticking still exists. After speaking with a couple of mechanics, I was told the problem may be bad lifters. As of today I checked for possible recalls on the car. None were listed. I am requesting this matter be investigated further and a remedy be provided by the car maker.
Was driving to work and going about 30 mph and excellerating after a stop light and engine started to hesitate and then heard very load rattling/ticking noise that is non stop. Car stalled in middle of street. Finally got it started again. Car did make it home but would not accellerate too much. Am now told by mechanic that engine is blown and need to replace it. Have maintained this engine and replaced oil regularly. Driven to work and home and little else. Driven well, and taken care of. Prior to me owning it was owned by my moms company for an executive car and it was managed by a fleet manager and serviced and maintained well. They were original owners even though title shows 2 changes. It may have been transferred to a fleet management company after the initial purchase. I am the 2nd owner. I am given a $4000 estimate to replace the engine. I am still paying the loan for this car.

I have a 2008 Dodge Charger with 24,000 miles on it and have my car serviced as required and yet the engine blew lastnight. Over the last 2 weeks my car was making ticking noises but it was not constant,I let it go. Then 3 days ago I took my car to have an oil change and it wasn't time but I was worried so I did. Lastnight the car engine sounded really bad lots of clunking so I pulled over afraid of not knowing what was going to happen. I have Dodges lifetime drivetrain warranty so I had it towed to the dealer. Today they called and told me the engine was not covered because of sludge buildup. I told them I did all the maintenance and have proof but they still insist it is my fault. I am at a loss now of where to turn. $5-$7000. 00 will get it running again out of my pocket. Please help as I thought I was covered and don't know what to do.
