The contact's wife owns a 2010 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that upon depression of the brake pedal, the shifter lever made an abnormal clicking sound when shifting gears, without warning. The contact linked the noise to a defective transmission shifter interlock lever. The vehicle had yet to be serviced or diagnosed. The contact had not experienced a failure however, if the vehicle was not repaired, the shifter interlock lever may become inoperable. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not under recall. The contact was then referred to NHTSA for assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 66,000.

During my time driving the vehicle it has been running great but recently after reaching 23,500 miles it started acting funny as in. Slowing to a complete stop and accelerating it would loose rpm then go up then it hard shift up until the 4 gear. Putting in reverse it would make a rocking noise under the hood. To stop it I would have to put it in park. This happed 4 times. I brought it up to mechanics they could not figure out the problem.

Turning onto on-ramp of a highway I was moving about 20 miles an hour when the engine died and I lost power steering. Additionally, I felt a very tough transmission shift 2-3 seconds before I lost power steering and when the engine died. The car took multiple attempts to turn over. A very loud whirring noise began in the engine/transmission area and is yet to stop.

2013 Dodge Charger sxt (awd) recently experienced strange "popping" noise when shifting from park into reverse, or drive into reverse. Also, there was a strange noise/"thud" while driving whenever the "eco" mode would engage. After the noise got increasingly worse I took the vehicle to the dealership for service. The dealership discovered that the left rear axle nut was very loose. Once the nut was torqued, the problem was resolved. Unknown cause. Vehicle is in good condition, with no accidents, and just under 30,000 miles.

I was going over a speed bump about 2 mph and when the passenger rear tire goes over the speed bump it makes a loud clunk noise like it bottoms out. My abs, traction and air bag light_ stays on and will not go off. When I make a right turn the shifter area clicks mutiple times like a type writer.
