Passenger door panel worked while vehicle was parked. This caused the upper part to pull away from its mounts and is exposing the side airbag leaving it exposed to additional heat and elements. It is my concern that the additional exposure may cause the airbag to discharge.

Takata recall I received another postcard this week reminding me that I need to get my airbags replaced. I checked your website for parts availability and found that both s43 and r45 are both available. I called firkins in bradenton FL to schedule my replacement of both airbags, only to find out that they only have the driver's side airbag in stock. I have been waiting for both parts to be available so that I would only have to make one appointment. Can you find out when the passenger side airbag replacement will be available? thank you.

Takata recall - I have a younger driver driving a car with a passenger side airbag recall. This recall was issued over a year ago and it has still not been completed with no target date given. I purchased the car so that it could be driven safely and fully. My child has not been able to have a passenger in the car for over a year. The dealer does not seem to care, NHTSA does not seem to care, and takata does not seem to care. You won't even say not to drive the car because of the potential law suits and loss of revenue that it would cost the manufacturers. You have clearly calculated the cost of death and/or injury at a lower value than the potential loss of revenue that would result from fixing the issue or deeming the vehicles as not drivable. It is ridiculous and unacceptable. I want the car fixed or replaced ASAP. We are relying on good decisions to be made by teenage drivers when you cannot clearly make good decisions in regards to safety guidelines written in your recall statements? fix this ASAP!.

Takata recall - this is a police fleet vehicle and has been out of service since November of 2016 based solely on this recall. I have tried dealing with fca fleet management with no success. The local dealer says they have the driver's side airbag but not the pass. Side airbag. This has been an issue as we have been down a vehicle for almost a year at this point with no remedy in sight.

Takata recall - I have been waiting several months to get my driver side air bags changed. I live in florida and it is very hot and humid. My car is 10 years old and I am over 60 years ago. I am scared to drive the car until I can get this changed. I had to get the passenger side done and waited a very long time until I contacted you and you helped push it through. I am hoping you can help me again as I am getting tired of contacting the dealership myself. Thank you so much.

Operating my vehicle with seatbelts employed, I was struck offset head-on from my left at the drivers front headlight from an oncoming vehicle who's driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic, making a left turn, crossing into my lane causing the collision and subsequent events. My speed was accelerating and was approximately 35 mph when hit by the other vehicle, reportedly accelerating to an estimated 15 mph. Despite these energetic collisions, none of my airbags ever did deploy. After the initial vehicle collision, my car was subsequently slammed to the side and off the road. With continued forward momentum, "standing" on the brakes and with no steering control, I struck a fire hydrant in my path followed by a large tree head-on. The tree collision was significantly energetic enough to cause total front end damages resulting in repairs approximately $20,000. In all three collisions, none of my airbags deployed. I sustained head trauma and was unconscious when ems/police arrived. I was diagnosed in the er with closed head injury and other mva- related trauma. Mechanism of injury: after the initial vehicle/vehicle collision, my head collided with the upper inside driver's doorframe where there's a handle. When my car subsequently collided with the large tree, my neck snapped forward and I struck my forehead on the steering wheel. It's my opinion and that of others, that the driver side airbags should have deployed in at least one of the collisions and had they deployed correctly, my injuries could have been prevented or, at minimum, been less severe.

The failure mileage was unknown. Djr.
