The air bag warning light is staying lit up on my dash board. I believe there was an air bag recall that was fixed by my local Dodge dealership not long ago. I'm concerned that now something else may be wrong.

We had a catastrophic failure of the alternator which nearly caused a wreck with my entire family (infant daughter was in car at the time when the high heat came on and windows locked not allowing us to turn heat off or get out for a minute) while we were driving back home and had to have the vehicle towed and get it fixed at the dealership earlier this year around January. Now the air bag warning light is staying on constantly, and as of 3 days ago (08/21/2016) the radio stops working and yesterday (08/23/2016) the abs & traction control lights came on and will not go off now (at 60 mph that's scary when your family is with you and brake warning lights and airbag lights come on!!!!!!!). So this makes 3 warning lights that are now on constantly, yet the recalls for these issues do not apply to this VIN number, but the problems are happening exactly the same as other peoples problems who were part of recalls. My dealership won't fix it unless I pay because my cars VIN number doesn't qualify for the recall, yet the same exact problems are happening as recall problems. I will never buy Dodge again as they have nearly killed me and my family enough, and are turning out to be very dishonest!.

Currently having an ongoing issue with the abs and traction control lights. The vehicle is in the shop for the second time in less than 2 months for the same lights. Twice I was driving down the road, the brake pedal would do something funny and the those lights would come on. The second time(currently and occurred on June 4th) the airbag warning light came on as well. The first time the abs and traction light came on, I was told it was a abs sensor, and I paid the dealership $250. 00. This time less than 2 months later, the dealership is saying it is yet another sensor causing those lights to illuminate. And as far as the airbag goes, it's faulty wiring and that it needed another wiring harness. These repairs would cost me over $600. 00. I have two friends that have the same vehicle and are having the exact same problems with the abs and traction control lights. This seems to be a overall Dodge issue as far as the Chargers go.

Yesterday evening, the airbag warning light on my vehicle came on. Although the owners manual for my vehicle states that an airbag light needs to be checked immediately, this morning I was unable to obtain a service appointment despite my having contacted two local Dodge dealerships. When I spoke with the service departments at both dealerships, I was told that the airbags on my vehicle may not be working. However, neither dealership would give me a a service appointment until next week. When I called fiat Chrysler's customer department, I was told that my vehicle is subject to a safety recall due to a problem with its airbags. It was also acknowledged by the representative with whom I spoke that one or more of the airbags on my vehicle may not be working. In spite of this, and in spite of the recall, fiat Chrysler told me that it is unable to get me a service appointment today to have the recall and airbag warning light issues addressed. Furthermore, I was told that if the airbag warning light problem is not related to the recall, I might have to pay to have the problem addressed if it is not covered by warranty. Although I asked to be given a rental car today to drive until my vehicle can be seen at a dealership, fiat Chrysler would not authorize me to receive a rental car free of charge, and instead told me that I would have to rent a car using my own money and seek reimbursement. Fiat Chrysler has told me that my complaint has been "escalated" and that I would received a return call from fiat Chrysler "as soon as possible," despite which I have not received a return phone call. I now have an appointment with lucas Dodge in mt. Holly, new jersey, but for today I am being forced to drive a vehicle that may have either defective airbags or no working airbags at all.

I took my car in for routine engine oil replacement and tire rotation. After receiving it back I noticed a humming sound coming from the engine and the dash information center telling me that the car is now in battery saver mode. . Reading through the forums it seems this has been happening with people driving the same car as me and this has always led to engine failure and possible fire or accident. Prior to this incident, for the past 2-3 months, the airbag warning light has been coming on and off intermittently for no reason, regardless of anything on me seats.

I have a 2012 Dodge Charger se. Date and place of manufacture was January 2012, canada. The vehicle was purchased used on may 15, 2013 from the colorado river car sales, located in bull head city, arizona. On 2/06/2014 the air bag warning light came on and has remained on. After learning that a recall had been made for defective air bag harness wiring, my husband contacted swantys Chrysler / Dodge dealership / repair center in bull head city, arizona for an appointment to correct the problem. On 2/11/2014 my vehicle was inspected and the harness was found to be defective, however I was informed that my vehicle VIN number is not a part of the NHTSA recall # 13v118000. Due to the fact that it was manufactured 2 weeks after the dates stated on the recall notice . I was informed that I will be responsible for the replacement cost of $350. 00 . To correct this defect. Neither the colorado river dealership nor swantys will consider doing the repair / replacement without charge to me. The defect is the same and wouldn't be a problem, had my vehicle been manufactured only 2 weeks earlier then it was. I am requesting that my vehicle be included in the NHTSA recall # 13v118000 this is a financial injustice to me that I feel needs to be resolved as soon as possible.
