When driving the vehicle it will randomly begin to stall when driving and power off. Once you let you sit it will start right back up kind rough and then drive fine. Then couple days later it will do it again. My wife was making a turn when it stalled and almost got t boned. We took it in for the fuel pump recall but no parts have been pushed out for this recall nor have been made. They told. Us to just keep driving it even though its asking g for an accident to happen. I asked for a replacement car and was denied and was told I can take it to another dealer but they said the same thing.
There has been a recall on this car for a fuel pump relay that causes stalling. I've had the stalling problem from the day I bought the vehicle. I called to have the defective component(s) replaced back in December of 2019. It's Aug. 2020 now. I called my dealer and got the same response ' parts aren't available yet for the recall'. 9 months since we were notified of the recall. Far from what anyone would consider 'a timely remedy'.
A recall for the fuel pump relay was issued 8 months ago and no remedy is available yet. The letter I received states that it can cause an engine stall resulting in a crash. Does the manufacturer have a responsibility to remedy the problem within a specified amount of time? according to your website, this vehicle has had 8 recalls. What options do I have?.
Fuel pump relay switch. Vehicle can stall at anytime while driving, vehicle possibly will not start. Engine light on, cannot use remote start. Called multiple times to over a year after recall notification from Dodge, was told no current fix.
Stalling randomly while driving all power cuts out. Huge safety concern. Still at dealership 3 months later for a recall and no piece available yet according to Chrysler. Fuel pump relay. No estimated date for replacement. Beyond upset. I want my vehicle back . Chrysler needs to get a remedy and fast for its customers. It's a huge safety issue and people need their own vehicles. Not a rental it shouldn't take this long. They should have a piece made or at least an estimated time when they will have it for customers.

For weeks my 2013 Durango sxt won't lock when pressing the key fob and sometimes when I unlock the car, the horn goes off several times, as if I'm locking the car. I've replaced the battery in the fob, so not sure why it's not working properly. My liftgate lock stopped working for a month and recently started working. My check engine light is on and the car randomly has a delay in starting. I'm reading that it could be a fuel pump relay and the 2013 Durango has a recall for it, but my VIN isn't included in the recall even though it had a tipm recall that was repaired, which is closely associated with the fuel pump relay recall.
Vehicle is stationary. Vehicle sometimes cranks but will not start. Happens periodically. Cannot hear fuel pump running before enabling start sequence. Must turn ignition off and wait a few minutes before attempting to restart. Usually starts on the second or third try.
Rfuel pump relay recall, sept. 2019. No part available, or know when part will be available. Vech. Hesitates but has not died out yet. Tired of waiting. Will buy a Ford next time.
My vehicle is having a long crank time similar to the recall on more than 500k Durango and cherokee models are under recall for fuel pump relay issue that can lead to stalls and no-starts. My car has been doing this off and on for over a year I have taken it to the dealership with no resolve, because they are saying it has to duplicate the problem while they have it, but it never does. Now my car is acting like it wants to stall while driving. This is scary while driving.

Fuel pump relay system not working. I had the fuel pump repaired once but it did not fix the problem. It is recalled but not with my VIN.
Tl the contact owns a 2012 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that the engine failed to start. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the fuel pump failed. The fuel pump was replaced; however, the failure was not corrected. The manufacturer was contacted. The manufacturer stated that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 15v115000 (electrical system). The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 100,000.
I had the recall done in 2015 for the fuel pump relay. I was driving my vehicle when it died and now I am being told the fuel pump relay is out and needs to be replaced. I spoke with the 800 number for Dodge who refused to cover the replacement because I had it done already. This is something that shuts the vehicle down even if you are driving. I was driving my vehicle and it shut down as soon I came into my neighborhood. It had to be towed.
Went to head home from vacation and stopped at a store with the engine running. Vehicle engine sputtered then cut off. Tried to start vehicle and vehicle would not start. Sounded like it was turning over. Had to have car towed 2 1/2 hours to our dealership. Once in dealership found tipm to be defective which caused the fuel pump to break. 16 days later the water pump failed. At 28,000 miles 3 major engine parts have been replaced. Not to mention all the other flaws in this vehicle. Passenger side window also works intermittently. Vehicle is still in service department for the second time in less than a month.

Fire hazard. Gasoline fume after turning off engine. Fuel line will lose pressure after sitting 24hrs and hard initial starting. Engine run fine. No leak detected on long drive. After several short trips, enough leaking gas will pool on top of gas tank and spill over passenger side and rear of gas tank. Gas leak from the plastic housing of oem fuel pump. Fuel pump was replaced at owners expense. Core charge on new fuel pump indicate that the old fuel pump is being rebuilt and small leaks will not be detected from the rebuilt unit.

My 2014 Durango has been making a knocking noise on the front driver side for over 3 years now. I took my car in several times and to different dealers. It was always the same story, we couldn't find anything I even had one dealership tell me sorry we can't figure it out, it's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. are you kidding me!! my vehicle has been to the dealer over 5times for the same problem and it's never been fixed. Now it's out of warranty and out of their hair, just what they wanted. I need to help on what to do in this situation. Another issue I had was with the fuel pump. They fixed some problem I had a few years back, they actually broke my gas tank door after working on this issue. My car has once again come back with this same problem. Today my car won't start and is unfortunately out of warranty. I had a mechanic come take a look at it and it seems to be the fuel pump once again. Who's working on these cars? drunks? I need help ASAP. I want to note that the knocking noise occurs every time I'm driving. No matter the road conditions. Smooth, bumping, raining, the knocking sound is there. It sounds like a rock hitting under the hood. It's not constant but happens every 3-5 minutes and I know it's not the lifters because I've also had the problem already and it's been fixed. Any help would be great. .
Fuel pump relay recall (r09). I took my vehicle for this recall on 2015. Now, 2019, a couple of weeks ago, the vehicle was presenting the condition such as difficulty to start like once a week until it start doing that daily, sometimes more than once a day. I took it to the Dodge service center and it was identify as the same issue. Repairing will take a couple of days until the part is receive.
In November 17, 2016 a recall campaign 15v-115 was issued. My Durango was serviced by dealer due to this recall. Recently I took the vehicle to the triangle dealers in puerto rico, with the same issue. They wanted to change the fuel pump, because this was the diagnostic of the mechanic. I did not agreed with the diagnostic because I had already verified that when I moved the cables of the relay they installed, the vehicle turned on again. I picked up my Durango at the dealer on the December 24, 2018. Now the Durango has the same problem, it actually stalled will driving almost causing me to have an accident on the 25th. My complain is the the relay installed in these vehicles are not the solution. I've research other vehicles owner who have had the same problem occurring over time again, as I am right now.
Fuel pump isnt getting any power. Has been replaced brand new each time and car just shuts up and stalls wont turn on.
I have the 5. 7 liter engine. I was advised that the fuel pump relay and the wiring harness were the subject of a recall because it could cause the pump to shut down and the engine would stop running. On 11/17/2016 I took my car to Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram in seattle for an oil change, and they replaced the fuel pump relay and integrated wiring harness. I had not previously had a problem with the engine shutting down. The fuel pump relay they installed in my car was defective, and failed completely about 22 months after it was installed. My car was parked and several times my attempts to start the car were frustrated. The engine would start, but ran very roughly for a second or two before stopping. Rairdons Chrysler Jeep in kirkland charged me $294. 28 to diagnose the problem, and advised that it was a defect in the fuel pump relay. On September 25, 2018, rairdons Chrysler Jeep in kirkland installed a replacement and charged me $282. 96, claiming that their information was that the replacement part was installed more than two years previously, and I had to pay for the part and installation because it was only warranted for 2 years. Rairdon's is incorrect, the replacement was installed less than 2 years before failing. This seems unfair and improper. The replacement should be subject to the same conditions and terms and safety standards as the car and parts are. I think the diagnosis and replacing the part should not be chargeable to me because the part is subject to a safety recall.
Regarding safety recall r09 / NHTSA 15v-115 fuel pump relay - 2012-2013 Dodge Durango & Jeep grand cherokee this recall was performed on my vehicle a few months ago, the other week the fix failed several times starting the car and once while the car was in motion. I took it back in to the dealer to get the fix redone, in the two days since the redo the car has already not started several times and stopped supplying power to the fuel pump while the car was in motion once. So in short, the fix for the original safety issue does not work and is even worse than before the fix. Searching online several other people also have had the fix fail on them as well.
3 years after having my fuel pump relay recall performed on my 2012 Durango crew the same exact symptoms are happening. Stalling out while driving and the car will try to crank but not fully turn over. Put the Durango in the shop and it's the same problem again the fuel pump relay and we have to pay out of pocket for the repair. This part should not be failing again after a 30,000 mile 3year difference on a 70,000 mile car. What ever parts they used for recall are faulty and eventually fail. I should not have to have my fuel pump relay changed again on this car. Dodge needs to take responsibility and fix the issue the first time and not put burden on their customers of their defects. I'm putting this out there for anyone having the same issue after their recall was fixed. Complain! so we aren't responsible for Dodge mistakes.
Fuel pump kepts malfunction.
Safety recall r09 / NHTSA 15v-115 fuel pump relay - 2012-2013 Dodge Durango completed on my 2013 Durango shortly after notified by Chrysler. At or around June 2018 the vehicle started experiencing same symptoms as described in safety recall r09 even after external fuel pump relay was installed. At first, symptoms were intermittent and sporadic, happening every few weeks. As time progressed starter would crank until it timed out without vehicle starting. Sometimes vehicle would start but act as if it was running out of gas spitting and sputtering and would have to turn vehicle off to end sputtering. Now the vehicle continues to have the above symptoms however they are more often (once or twice a week, and often daily) and have left me stranded several times . Have taken vehicle to dealership for diagnosis but no codes and was told "without a trouble code we can't diagnose the vehicle bring it back when it happens again. " the no start extended cranking until starter times out and the sputtering all occur stationary during start up.
Fuel pump relay replaced to external position. Vehicle now will not start at times, starts and dies. Replaced both guel pumps a month ago and still problems. Relay is not switching on but tests ut is good.
The transfer case will make noise when unlocking the doors, it will also engage and change the awd by itself to 4lock when driving on the road. It can cause seriouse hard or accident. The airbags on both driver and passenger side light will engage and can cause seriouse harm. The fuel pump seems like it has an air bubble inside and shoots out gasoline and also can cause seriouse harm. All of these problems occurs when the vehicle is in motion and stationary. Please fix!!! recall!!! you have to hear the noise and drive when it happens.

Tl the contact owns a 2013 Dodge Durango. The contact stated that the key would turn over in the ignition, but the vehicle failed to start. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer (galeana automotive group, 28400 van dyke Ave, warren, mi 48093) where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was approximately 42,000.
The fuel pump relay harness wire that connects to the tipm box is causing problems with the vehicle to start. The added wire makes the other connections heat up and that has made a hole in the fuse box already and the fuel pump harness connection wire is burning up.
External fuel pump relay installed as part of recall r09 has failed 2 years after replacement. The vehicle refused to start numerous times before finally completely non starting on 9. 30. 17 while at my home.
SUV will crank but won't start. Either the fuel pump relay in the tipm is going bad or the fuel pump is going bad. Is their a recall for the tipm if you can reach out to me that would be great. 516-906-5374.
Gas tank fuel pump unit leaking due to severely deteriorated and cracked plastic. This was identified as the cause of a dashboard warning light. Only after dropping the fuel tank is the fuel pump unit visible. Air bubbles could be seen coming from the top of the fuel pump unit. A metal attachment ring was severely rusted and the fuel unit plastic casing was deteriorated and leaking. The white plastic used for the fuel unit does not seem appropriate for the heat and corrosion in that location. The fuel pump unit was replaced and the warning light is off. This vehicle had the fuel fill tube replaced six months earlier to resolve the fuel spill problem on this vehicle model. The warning light only appeared after that service. It was taken to the dealer once without finding the cause, and a second time when the problem was found. Once the light comes on it doesn't go off. The owner has some suspicion that the warning light comes on when the gas tank is a little low on fuel. Previously gas fumes could sometimes be noted. The car is stored outside. I, the owner, am concerned about the white plastic material used in the construction of the fuel pump unit.

Recall 19v-813 is for safety and has not been resolved since the engine began stopping in 2013 nor since the first recall or since the second recall in November 2019. This is a safety issue and I have had the car stop while driving and not restart. Sometimes it does not start in the garage. I hit the fuel pump relay with a hammer and it will work for a little while. Dodge does not allow me to fix this myself. Can I have a new car?.
We had a recall fixed on the fuel pump relay and since then the vehicle stalls while driving. Didn't do that before the work.
Vehicle fails to start and stalls while in motion. Brought vehicle to dealer to issue safety recall to install external fuel pump relay. Dealer was unable to correct issue and vehicle still fails to start and stalls when driving without warning.
