Noises During Shifting problems of the 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan

Failure Date: 01/31/2001

Consumer was traveling at approximately 30 to 35 mph when and metallic banging noise was emitted from engine . Consumer lost control of acceleration & gear shifting. No accident. Please provide any additional information/attachments.

2 Noises During Shifting problem

Failure Date: 10/17/1998

Transmission went out while cruising on the interstate going 65 mph. There were no symptons or early warning signs. No noises when the transmission went out other than the engine revving up as if the gear shift were in neutral. After pulling over to the shoulder of the road and shutting off the engine, I re-started the engine and the only gear available was low. I believe this was the.
