The contact owns a 2009 Dodge Journey. While driving at any speed, the esp and abs lights illuminated and the vehicle lost power. Afterwards, all four brakes locked up and smoke appeared. The vehicle was pulled over to the side of the road. The fire department was called and diagnosed that the two front brakes had locked up. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence and was later driven to the dealer. The dealer diagnosed that the failure occurred due to wear and tear. The master cylinder, rotors, brake caliber, and all four brakes were replaced; however, the failure recurred numerous times. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 168,924.
