Traction control warning light, abs warning light, service awd message came on while driving 45mph. A grinding/growling noise was present when slowing and coming to a stop for a signal light. All three warning lights remainder on while driving, with grinding/growling noise continued upon breaking till I reached my destination. I drove 32 miles from home to work. I was driving on country and city streets, a clear day with dry streets. 06 Aug 2020 the vehicle had been take to a licensed Dodge dearlership ~ carlin Dodge, colorado springs CO in July 2020 for the same issues. The wiring sleves were replaced and two recall issues taken care of, they stated there were no other issues found on the vehicle. In doing research there was a recall r62 dtc c2200-48 concerning the traction control/ abs warning lights is the issue we are having with the vehicle related to this recall issue???.
The abs light and the vehicle with sliding marks light have shown up on my dash while driving in town at low speed. This has accused two or three times and now is staying on all the time. I saw an article on line that there might have been a recall for this in 2015. My car only has 48278 miles on it. Could you let me know if there was or what I need to do about this problem?.

Abs light, skid control light remains on, cruise control not operating at all when turned on vehicle lights came on, cruise control not working at all fear that there may be issue with brakes, have seen complaints of leakage into abs system on other year models.
Vehicle never shifts right. Doors sometimes won't unlock leaving me stuck inside. Stranded on side of road after battery saver light came on and abs light causing my car rpms to fly up to 4 repeatedly and I could barely get off the main road safely befoelre the car stopped running. When I go to turn it back on says my car is not in park which it is. I really hope I'm not dealing with what other people have dealt with with this vehicle. My car is about to hit 70k miles. I get every service done to it. Also got the brakes done new and they still squeak.

I was driving on a city street. After going over a small bump on the street, the abs warning light and check engine light came on. I was able to stop the vehicle. The warning went off temporarily, but when I started to drive again, there was a small skid and warning lights came back on. There is more "play" when I brake, but I was able to come to a stop. The warning lights have remained on. We have been having a lot of rain where I live. I have seen reports of other people having similar problems with my model of car. Reason : unknown.

I've seen there has been a recall on the abs unfortunately my vehicle was made a month later. My abs light, break light, air bag light and the car slippery light is on.
The abs light and the traction control lights have been on my car continuously. At first they would come on intermittently during a ride and then stay on. But now, they are on during almost every ride during startup.
I was driving my 2016 Dodge Journey crossroad and the abs lights came on and then I felt my car jerk like it was going to stall. I tried to get off the freeway and my car stalled out. I put it in drive and it would stall again. It sounded like the engine was going to fall out of my car. It would stall out even in reverse. It would only run in park. The tow truck driver said it sounds like the crank shaft or transmission. My car is only 3yrs old and well taken care of. No check engine light came on, the scanner wouldn't read any error codes. I am currently waiting on the mechanic to look at it this weekend, my 9month old niece and I almost died by being rear ended by traffic coming off the off ramp.
About three weeks ago, the abs and check light came on, I researched recalls and took car to schlossmann's Dodge city. I was advised that due to weather and water leaking into wire harness that it was corroded. In which this is the basis of the r61 recall. However, since my issue is with left wheel sensor and not the front right, it is not covered. I am wondering what the difference is - if the result and cause is the same - why would it not be covered? I have also noticed that the cruise control no longer works - is this related?.
"sometimes" the abs and traction control light turn on. I hear a ticking noise for a few seconds. . If I push on the breaks I can hear a grinding noise. The lights always turn off after a minute or two and the grinding noise only happens when both the abs and tracking lights are on.
takata recall in less than a year the abs light have come on. The first time it ever came on was stopping for a red light on the highway the vehicle kept going. Second time less than a year later the light has come back on and you have to press the brakes then release and and press the brakes again for the vehicle to stop adequately.
Tl the contact owns a 2015 Dodge Journey. While operating the vehicle, the abs and traction control warning indicators illuminated. The cause of the failure was not determined. Reedman toll Chrysler/Jeep (1700 Lincoln hwy, langhorne, PA) and the manufacturer were notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 42,000.
I started my vehicle first thing in the morning and my abs light and the traction control light were on while the vehicle was in park. And my car made a loud noise while braking normally just pulling up to a stop sign. The light went off after 10 minutes and then I got to work and turned my car off. After with I turned the car on and the light had come back on and I was having the same issue. I noticed this was a recall for previous years from 2012-2015 of the same vehicle reporting similar issues. Please help.
I had a abs light and esc light appear, pulled into gas station. Approached the fuel pumps and pressed the brakes and slid on the icy pavement (snowy michigan) into the gas pump protectors made of concrete. Couldn't control the vehicle @~8mph slightly turned approaching a gas pump on wet/icy concrete.
There are times when my abs light comes in and my cruise control won't work and the anti skid lights is in. The brakes half way make this grind noise and I need feel the brakes locking up but not all the way but sure gets your attention. It's happened a couple times while just driving or going down road or stopping on city streets moving straight.
Several months after having new tires put on my SUV, I noticed the service awd, traction control, and abs lights were on continuously on my panel when in motion and upon learning the ignition button. Sometimes they'd go off either moving or stationary but then as 2 months passed, they'd remain on at all times. I wasn't able to engage cruise control when those lights were on. I had 2 near accidents from nearly hitting 2 large deer. I hit my brakes and my tires did but wasn't to grip the road and just felt like they were on ice (in summer) . When they would grip they made a loud noise and then I was able to stop but not without smelling burnt rubber. I have heard from a friend of mine that is a mechanic that he had a feeling it was my abs sensor but didnt have access to a Dodge diagnostic system as he works for a different dealership. Ive heard from different people that this has been a "common" problem recently with Journeys. I paid 97 dollars for a diagnostic forma non-dealer garage and they confirmed it was my right front abs sensor and it was a manufacturer defect. I called the Dodge dealership and I was not informed when I brought it in there for the recall that it was under warranty. I brought my SUV in and the advisor didn't believe it was my sensor until it was replaced. I was informed that the Journeys have been coming in by the dozen over this issue and all over the u. S. That was the only sensor checked and replaced and my warranty is about done. Please investigate have 3 kids with special needs and I don't want accidents for anyone over this issue. My kids nearly lost me last year in a terrible accident. My vehicle was serviced oct. 2018.
Tl the contact owns a 2013 Dodge Journey. While driving 70 mph, the contact heard an abnormal noise and the abs, check engine, and traction control warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram pembroke pines (13601 pines blvd, pembroke pines, FL 33027, 954-446-8775) where it was diagnosed that the anti-lock brake module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that the repairs had nothing to do with the failures. The manufacturer stated that they would call her back, but the contact had not received a call. The failure mileage was approximately 36,000.
Abs light on.
The abs warning light is illuminated, but there is no trouble codes. There has been a recall alert, about the electronic stability of such I found online.
5-10-18 had to bring my vehicle in for a new tire and prior to the tire, the abs light would intermittently pop on and off. This would happen mostly after I started the vehicle and after backing up and traveling a few feet, it would sound and feel like it would catch and grind, then release after traveling about a mile, it would go off. When I brought it in to get the tire replaced, I asked them to look at it, they said the abs light was coming on because the battery was faulty and they replaced the battery. (I think maybe they just reset something) I asked them to give me an itemized list of parts changed for the work, and I never received it. I only received the invoice for the tire. Now. . . . Rear ended in Dec 27, 2018 - between the accident and time it took holidays/insurance to get me an appointment with dealer, the abs light started to pop on again and the radio screen grayed out and came back on(so far that has only happened once). My husband let them know to check that as well because there was impact damage on the left front bumper and dealer only repaired the damages reported by adjuster and didn't address the abs/radio issue. So. . . . . Now what? feel like they just put a band aid on it until the warranty ran out and then again after damage sustained in an accident that was not my fault.

The vehicle was later taken to five star Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram of macon dealer (3068 riverside rd, macon, GA 31210 (478) 287-1907) but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. Two days ago my abs and esc light came on, I have also noticed since then I have no cruise control. In the winter here the roads are quite sick, and the antilock brakes that are on this vehicle no longer function. When I was driving into work and came to a stop light, I tried to stop and kept sliding as a result.
Driving on highway had to pull over. Put hazard lights on grass was wet. When done we got stuck so I out the abs button on and the traction and abs lights stayed on the dash for 20 miles, then they turned off for a brief moment and they've been on ever since. Computer module at our local store is not giving a problem when plugged into the fuse box with their handheld computer.
"electronic stability control and abs light recall". The lights of the "abs and esc" are lighted when we start the engine of the vehicle.
Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, while coming to a stop light depressing the brake pedal, the vehicle failed to stop. The contact was depressing the brake pedal to the floorboard to bring the vehicle to a stop and was able to coast to the side of the road. The abs warning light illuminated. The contact was able to drive the vehicle to her residence. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic for a diagnostic testing of the failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 74,000. Aw.
They're are recalls for all the issues I'm having with my vehicle but when I put the VIN in it doesn't fall under the recall list. I don't see how they can choose what cars to fix if the same problems and parts are on all them. So I guess Dodge is definitely not the vehicle to buy since they don't stand behind they're work. I was driving and the abs light and traction control light came on and cruise control stopped working. And from what I've been told it's the brake sensor and that's one of the recalls my vehicle VIN doesn't fall under.
The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Journey. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the abs warning light illuminated. The caused of the failure was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 15,097.
