1 Coolant Leaking problem of the 2015 Dodge Journey

Failure Date: 08/02/2019

Takata recall : urgent: overtime I've had electrical issues which effects not just the plug inserts inside the vehicle but also my alarm system foes not work and my horn just does not work anymore, air bag light that popped up on my dashboard which I feel maybe some wires might be detached but scares me that when I drive the air bag wont detect if I get into an accident, also I recently just had an issue with my engine cooling and started to smoke out of nowhere while on the freeway and ended up getting stuck for hours but even if I drive for a few seconds the gauge shoots to hot right away and and coolant started leaking everywhere. I have attached the 6 out of 10 recalls that did not get done. I brought my car into bud clary's of auburn in March of 2019 and had 4 recalls taken care of. I have advised that I still had 6 orhers that were reported back in 2015 that I never got done and wanted to take care of that as well. Was told that it does not show in the system and I would need to contact NHTSA for more details. Ive reached out to a few people who gave me the same information.

3 Coolant Leaking problem of the 2012 Dodge Journey

Failure Date: 01/08/2019

Coolant was low so it was filled with coolant. The reservoir was low again the very same day and the car was overheating (as well as the ac not working properly and blew hot air even when using cold) on the highway, barely making it to destination. The first diagnosis was an air vacuum caused a leak. The problem keeps reoccurring after the supposed fix.

4 Coolant Leaking problem of the 2012 Dodge Journey

Failure Date: 12/18/2018

The 4 cylinder engine on my 2012 Dodge Journey developed an engine coolant leak. Trouble shooting found the leak to be related to deterioration of a plastic part inside the engine. . . Dodge part# 68003582. . . Adapter c. The car was standing when the problem was diagnosed. If I had not had the part replaced a catastrophic engine coolant leak could have occurred while the car was being driven, leading to a full loss of coolant, overheating of the engine and seizing of the engine. I talked with Dodge customer service and they acknowledged awareness of the problem. The car has 89,000 miles. I consider this to be a serious safety problem.

7 Coolant Leaking problem of the 2009 Dodge Journey

Failure Date: 07/23/2013

The vehicle keeps overheating. I've added coolant. There doesn't seem to be a leakage stain in the garage or driveway. It happened yesterday after leaving the office for lunch. I barely made it home before the Journey completely shut down. I allowed the engine to cool off, added coolant, and it wouldn't restart. I took a different car back to work and was able to start the Journey upon returning home. I let it sit overnight and it started right up this morning. However, upon driving 15 minutes during lunch today, it overheats again. The red warning light appeared and the ding sounded. The Journey coasted into my office parking spot where it will stay until I leave this evening. Hopefully, after adding more coolant, I'll at least be able to make it home. I will be trading this vehicle in ASAP! ps. The tire pressure light is always on, irregardless the proper amount of air in the tires.
