I purchase a 2005 Dodge Neon in June. Approxiately 3 werks later I notice how when I would have to stop when time to move forward car would stall and barely want to go then all of a sudden it would pick up. It did that for 2 days. The 3rd day I drove away in it with no promblems. When time for me to leave it would not start. I replace starter, battery, alternator and also made sure all these parts where good. 2 Starter problem of the 2000 Dodge Neon

Failure Date: 09/21/2005

I bought the vehicle 2 months ago. Since then I have put $750 into repairs and have estimates for $1000 more worth of repairs. The manufacturers problems included a rear main oil seal leak, an oil pan gasket leak, and a distributor switch leak. There was also a bent wheel, damaged tire, and bad starter. The dealer (dick morris Chevrolet) will do nothing to fix it.

3 Starter problem of the 2004 Dodge Neon

Failure Date: 01/28/2005

: the contact stated the vehicle stalls intermittently. This happens at various speeds and under normal driving and road conditions. However, it happens mostly when the vehicle is shifted from third, fourth or fifth gear. The vehicle has been to the local dealership numerous times, they are unable to duplicate the problem. The starter has been replaced 3 times, the entire wiring harness was replaced, the O2 sensor was replaced and the camshaft sensor and bolts were replaced. Although, these replacements were replaced the problem still exits.

6 Starter problem of the 1996 Dodge Neon

This car has had 3 transmissions and now needs another with only 56,200 miles. It has also had a starter, radiator, battery, 7 front right tires(none from nails etc. ),2 head gaskets, egr valve, multifunction switch, 2 sets of brakes(which still make noise). Our mechanic has told us that the 96 Neon is a lemon. The brakes are made from a metal that rusts very quickly and the head gaskets are faulty and will continue to have problems. What can I say about the transmission?? is 4 too many for a car with only 50+thousand miles?? help!!!!( dot number: tire size: 1857014 ).
