The contact owns a 2005 Dodge Ram. While driving approximately 20 mph, the contact realized that the vehicle was leaning and the rear passenger side was dragging on the ground. She immediately attempted to straighten the vehicle, but it continued to drag and lean. The vehicle immediately stopped after striking the barrier on the front passenger side. The contact inspected the vehicle and noticed that the axle failed and the wheel and drum were four lanes across the highway. The police arrived and filed a report. The contact sustained minor injuries. The vehicle was towed to the nearest dealer and was repaired. The current and failure mileages were 60,000.

While driving 65 mph and towing a horse trailer, rear of vehicle locked up. Dealer determined rear axle needed to be replaced.
While traveling approximately 45 mph right rear tire came off, and left rear of vehicle collapsed. Rear of vehicle started sliding along the ground when it hit a median and was stopped. Driver suffered neck injury. Dealership examined vehicle, and determined the cause as "customer neglect. " *note: on November 25, left rear tire had a blowout because of a road hazard. But, lugs: nuts were stripped, and tire had to be removed professionally. Please provide any additional information / documentation.

I had my complete rear end overhalled under my 90-day warranty, now 6 mths. Later I was backing out of my driveway and rear end locked -up breaking my pinion shaft gear. They offered me a tow & a rental, then come back & say I have to pay for it!! note-the pinion shaft lock bolt shows damage of falling out,they told me they don't use lock-tite. Ford&chevy manual say's discard old bolt, I think Dodge should too!!please help.
