I'm worried that the air bag on passenger side is defective as the strangest noise is coming from behind the dash like a rubber band is tightening and then clicking on and off. Doesn't happen all the time. I've also had my truck in for the steering before and it has never been right. Now the hood will not shut right. It's always been a lemon. I fight to keep it on the road. I was involved in a accident 0n 07/29/2018 I hit a car that had pulled out of a side street. I was traveling at about 32mph at the time of impact there was no time to brake even when I press the pedal very hard at the time. There was no airbag deployment. And this was a hard front end hit. This vehicle is under recall for the air bag explosion potential. I had the dealer order the replacement part over 6 months ago and they still have not received the part. I am on blood thinners so I cannot even drive my truck for fear of an accident that could easily be fatal to me.

I have tried on many times too arrigo Dodge in west palm beach ,florida too complete the safety recall . They have refused too address the issues with this truck . I have complained to the Dodge motor division more times than a few ,they turn a blind-eye to the dealership . I'm always having issues with the airbag light coming on while driving it goes away then come back when there is a sudden move and causes something to trigger. Also, I'm having issues with my headlight low mode not working I did a lot of research stating that many people are having the same issue and the problems have to do with the fuse box close to the battery. I called the dealership to schedule my recall repair. They told me I did not have any active recalls on my vehicle. After an unpleasant back and forth I was finally able to get a manager or "advisor" on the phone. The advisor determined that I did in fact have an active recall. This error was extremely unprofessional, unacceptable and could have endangered my life and the lives of anyone in my vehicle as the safety risk of the recall is "the loss of air bag and seat belt pretensioner deployment capability during a crash may increase the risk of injury or death. " (NHTSA recall number17v-302). While this instance is the most egregious from a safety perspective, this is not the first time ourisman jcd of alexandra, va has been reckless or negligent with my vehicle and I would like to file a formal complaint. Errors like this could lead to myself or someone else getting seriously injured or worse.

Takata recall, I was told that the recall was invalid and if I had not received a notice directly from the car manufacturer then the dealership would not replace my parts. Another location asked for the VIN number, I had to call back but they continuously put me on hold but then never picked up. I haven't had an incident, but to my knowledge this information and repair is supposed to be preventative. I'd rather not have to sue for money after I've been injured if it's not necessary. I received an airbag recall by mail I took my truck to jacksonville Chrysler Jeep Dodge at nursery field dr jacksonville florida on October the 18th the same day they made me sign a paper which was relieved the dealership of any responsibility for braking my dashboard while working on the airbag . Al palmer was the technician who received my truck. I was told on ictober the 18 th my truck will be repaired within 2 to 3 hours being that I acknowledge them ahead of time that the truck was my work truck ( reason why I made an appointment for October 18th ) . On October 19 at 1:19 pm they texted me apologizing because they were unable to touch my truck by then saying they were working on other vehicles that caused a delay on mine. I lost that work day 500. 00. The truck was supposed to be finished on October 18 wiithin 2 to 3 hours , nevertheless by the next day past 1:00 in the afternoon they didn't touch my work truck.

Takata recall I finally was able to find a dealer with parts for the recall and took my truck in for the repair. The service advisor called me to inform me that he could not assure me that further cracking of the dash wouldn't occur during the repair procedure. I said then if you damage it then I will hold you responsible. He said he could not proceed without me basically indemnifying him. I would not agree to that. The cracked dash is of itself a safety problem should the airbags deploy and send dash fragments flying. If they cracked it further, then it would be even more unsafe. I think takata has the responsibility along with Chrysler to fix the dash since the dash was made with inferior or defective materials as evidenced by the widespread issue with Dodge ram dashes.

Recall s43/nhtsa16v-352 I called kimberly car city in davenport iowa and the scheduled me for repairs on 7/5/17 but called back a few weeks later saying they didn't have right part, and would advise.
