The contact stated while the vehicle was parked, he noticed moisture inside the rear reverse light fixture, which the contact stated could lead to an electrical malfunction. The contact stated that the seal might not be installed properly after researching the failure online. The contact stated no warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repair by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to NHTSA hotline for recall information. 2020 Ford Edge. Consumer writes in regard to rear reflector assembly. Consumer stated that the rear reflectors collect condensation.

3 Back Up Lights problem of the 2011 Ford Edge

Failure Date: 08/08/2016

Door ajar stays on even when door is closed, drivers door and passenger door. Dome lights stay on and doors do not lock when driving, also comes on in middle of night when the car is just setting and nobody around it. At night when you are trying to back up the light is affecting the sight since it glares in your eyes causing you to be unable to see what is around you. I put a date of today but this has been going on for a month.

4 Back Up Lights problem of the 2009 Ford Edge

Failure Date: 06/16/2015

Rear left turn signal burnt out. Replaced, but entire light assembly including turn signal, back up lights, and brake lights, and rear backup sensor not working now. Replaced all bulbs and sockets for each and still not working. Mechanic replaced wiring harness on turn signal and finally fixed the problem. Burnt out bulb was black and charred and shorted out the entire drivers rear light assembly controls and sensors.
