The contact owns a 2005 Ford Escape. While driving between 25-55 mph, the throttle will stick and the contact must wiggle the pedal to get it loose. The dealer stated that carbon builds up in the throttle body and causes it to stick. The contact believes that a crash could occur due to the high acceleration. The current and failure mileages were 35,000.
