1 Transmission Fluid Leaking problem

Failure Date: 03/21/2021

Driving back home late at night on a busy freeway a mom and 2 kids by them self my car "overheat pull over safely warning came on" so I started to get over light then the went off weird so I turned the heater on it was working I still proceeded to pull off then cold air started blowing I got off pulled into gas station car died. Let it cool down popped hood no coolant after it was cool I added coolant it just poured out on to ground. Checked around checked for loose or missing hoses it looked fine, I saw behind engine you could see were oil had b leaked cause there was oil back there and coolant on top of the oil. Now car won't start had to get it towed. I believe it's a blown head gasket I always check my fluids and I know it should of been fine I checked it 3 days before that night. Now I have no car no warranties just bought it 5 months ago.

2 Transmission Fluid Leaking problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2019

I just bought this vehicle used in April and I'm already hearing loud noises when I start the car and grinding noises when I accelerate. I took the vehicle to a mechanic who confirmed that the way this vehicle was manufactured, caused a leak that was dripping fluid and causing softening of the gears? he said is would eventually lead to overheating. I am now experiencing unexpected accelerations while driving and difficult breaking.

3 Transmission Fluid Leaking problem

Failure Date: 10/12/2018

Starting in may 2018, coolant light came on, I replaced fluid. Since then it has become a constant. I took it to 2 dealers they say nothing is wrong. I out a large cardboard under car & the leakage is very obvious. I put almost a gallon of coolant in vehicle in one month. Got in touch with Ford, they said contact you & go to another Ford dealer for another inspection of leak. Ford also said there is no recall for this model but other models of 2013 & 2014 have this problem & they are the same type of car.

4 Transmission Fluid Leaking problem

Failure Date: 11/22/2015

For a few months low coolant light would come on and I would fill it. Then check engine light came on. Before I could have it checked out, I was driving for only five minutes and a red indicator light came on and the car slowed down. It read, high engine temperature, stop safely. Managed to get car home and checked the level of coolant/antifreeze. It was well below the min level. Filled it up and the fluid leaked out right away. Took it to Ford dealer for service. It was a faulty coolant diverter valve that needed to be replaced. Ford told me that it was not covered under the powertrain warranty which was a little confusing to me. Also, I know there were many recalls on this vehicle that were taken care of. One involving cooling system. Not sure if this problem I just had was related to a previous recall.
