Car Throttle Stuck Problems of Ford Expedition

Bad throttle body and gasket. Going 75 on a hwy in az and the wrench symbol pops up and the gas pedal no longer works! luckily we were able to maneuver to the side of the hwy safely. Restarted it and it was like nothing happened no check engine light or anything. This happened about 12 times before we were able to connect a computer to it and get code p2112 throttle actuauter control system stuck closed. It didn't matter what speed we were going it would just all of sudden get stuck and the throttle would no longer work. This is a very dangerous issue that needs to be looked into!.

Driving vehicle on street, when hit 40 mph, engine light came on and check manual wrench. Vehicle would not accelerate and loss of power. Continued to idle. Was able to pull out of traffic. Tried to turn vehicle off and restart, check engine light still on and would not accelerate when put into drive. Got it towed to dealership. Told that the electronic throttle body stuck in closed position- 2015 Ford Expedition, 52000 miles.

Throttle stuck wide open, power exceeded brakes ability to stop. Released by violently pressing accelerator repeatedly. Vehicle equipped with adjustable brake/gas pedals. Determined occurs when pedals are set in the lowest most position. There was no carpet or floor mat interference!! can duplicate at will.

Throttle remains stuck down under hard acceleration, potentially dangerous situation. Throttle body has been replaced twice and apparently needs to be replaced again.

At any speed, or when coming to a stop, the engine revved and raced intermittently. The throttle had become stuck on many occasions. The consumer's wife was backing out of the driveway and the throttle became stuck. The vehicle went out of control and crossed the street, struck a vehicle, and collided into the side of a house. The manufacturer and dealer were aware of the problem.
