Recall 26s28 as I put my hand in the center console and took it out it was cut by the trimming. I than had to stop as I felt and noticed blood was dripping off my hand. The following day I seen the recall not ice in the mail and that there is no repair available yet.

While parked overnight, the panoramic sunroof shattered upwards. There is zero evidence of an impact. While opening door to stand on retractable running boards to take a picture, the center area of glass collapsed into the SUV. Rain storms in area and had to immediately tarp roof. Was on vacation 13 hours from home. Had to drive home at 60 mph and re-tarp the sunroof in excess of 5 times. If this happened while driving there would have been dramatic impact to driver distraction and family sitting underneath the sunroof.

The spring for the door for the 4-flat trailer plug on vehicle is too powerful. This resulted in the door wearing away at the trailer plug and has resulted in the wires of the trailer light plug breaking. This is available upon request. It puts our safety at risk as our trailer lights can go out and result in less information for other drivers, possibly resulting in a rear-end crash. The problem has not been reproduced, and has not been inspected. The only symptom of the problem in the vehicle is it telling us the trailer was disconnected. The trailer was a 2020 malone microsport trailer.

On June 10, 2026, I attempted to enter my vehicle through the driver's door. The power running board was set to the "automatic" position but failed to deploy when the driver's door was opened. I stepped toward the vehicle expecting the running board to be extended, as it normally would be, but it was not. As a result, I lost my footing and fell. The fall caused a nondisplaced fracture of my left ring finger, which required evaluation at an urgent care facility, x-rays, treatment by a hand specialist, and immobilization in a custom splint. Surgery was considered due to concern for possible rotational deformity of the finger. The running board never deployed during the incident. There were no warning lights, warning messages, or other indications that the running board would not operate. To my knowledge, the problem had not occurred previously. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer or dealer to determine the cause of the running board failure. The running board system is available for inspection upon request. I am submitting this report because the unexpected failure of the automatic running board created a fall hazard that resulted in a documented injury. I am concerned that a similar failure could cause more serious injuries to other drivers or passengers, particularly children, older adults, or anyone with mobility limitations.

Component/system malfunction & availability: the vehicle's air conditioning (a/c) system failed completely. The primary component that failed is the rear a/c compressor/evaporator core. The vehicle and its new and replaced components are available for inspection upon request. The original damaged components are with the dealership. ?safety risk: the sudden and total loss of climate control occurred during extreme weather conditions. This caused an immediate and rapid rise in cabin temperature to unsafe levels, posing a severe risk of heat exhaustion, dehydration, and heatstroke, particularly for vulnerable passengers. Furthermore, the loss of the a/c system compromised the vehicle's ability to clear window fogging and condensation, rapidly reducing visibility and creating an immediate crash hazard. ?diagnosis & inspection status: the issue has been reproduced and officially confirmed by an authorized dealer/independent service center. However, the vehicle and the failed components have not yet been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representatives. ?prior symptoms & warning signs: there were no warning lamps, error messages, or diagnostic trouble codes displayed on the dashboard prior to the failure. Unknown exactly when the internal component degradation began, but the total failure occurred suddenly without prior symptoms.
No accident, malfunction, warning lights, or safety-related issues occurred. Vehicle is operating normally at this time.
I was made aware of recall last fall. Dealer looked at the vehicle, confirmed diagnosis and stated that there was no fix for the problem. Last month I was contacted by the dealer to have the recall repair completed. I scheduled appointment and brought the car in only to have them tell me that despite back up camera having the issues that they are not able to perform the recall because Ford will not let them unless there are faults registers in the computer which I can't see cause you need a proprietary reader for Fords. They stated that there was a customer support program where if I complained about it Ford might fix the problem, seriously wtf. I do not live close to the dealer. At 5 dollars a gallon it costs me 20 bucks round trip every time I come to the dealer plus my time wasted. The camera is not working properly, it's been diagnosed at this dealer, it's been issued on recall. It should be fixed. This is becoming unreasonable.

Vehicle unknowingly loses power and shuts off while driving. A wrench appears on dash with check manual message.
Backup camera is provides a distorted image more than 80% of the time. This is a known issue for 2018 Ford Expeditions but it has not been reported as a problem for 2019’s. I am telling you that it is a problem that I am experiencing it. It is the same as the prior year issue. It affects all Ford suvs in that era. Fixing it is a temporary solution - it is a known issue that they are frequently defective.
At highway speeds there is a vibration. Had at the dealership for road test, balance, and alignment. Did not fix the problem. Discovered that many more are having the same issue.
The car would flash warning light failure on blind spot, engine and felt like would shift out of gear dropping speed and then speedometer would drop to zero. Very scary when driving. Occurred at multiple speeds; 3 times before took to get evaluated /fixed. Mechanic said had 3 other vehicles like mine pst month same issue. Recommended make complaint because with him seeing that many might become a recall:.
Mid shift between 5th and 6th gear it sounded like marbles in my engine(grinding) so I let off the gas. It then switched down to 1st gear shuttered and slowed down and then shifted back to 6th. Was lucky no one was behind me or I would have been rear ended. Then going up my driveway same day. It disengaged(stopped) part way up my driveway. Wouldn’t go into gear and wouldn’t move. I had to shut it off put it in park and start it again. Then when I shifted back to drive it made some clunking noises and didn’t move until I put it in reverse. I rolled down the hill then was able to shift into drive and go up the driveway. I no longer trust it. So it’s been parked ever since.

The moon roof shattered. No debris on road and I was on an exit ramp with no cars headed toward me.
The vehicle has jerky and harsh shifting. Almost got into an accident when car would not accelerate on the freeway. Appears this is a known issue with my vehicle. Took it in to be checked and initially they didn’t find anything. Problem persisted so I told them to test drive it for a bit and they said it was the cdf drum and c clutch circuit which is apparently tied to the transmission issue. I called Ford about coverage due to the recall but they said the recall that is out there for this issue is not yet available for my specific car. This is dangerous and can cause serious accidents. Would like to know what it will take for Ford to include my vehicle in the recall. Would like Ford to take responsibility and pay for fixing this issue.
Transmission issue when down shifting make a clinking noise.

My vehicle continues to experience "unintended left turn signal activation" after making a right hand turn and the left turn signal activates spontaneously. Ford documented in writing that they considered this "a great safety risk". They recently indicated a fix was available, but upon receipt of my vehicle from this completed repair, the repair immediately failed and the issue persisted upon my first right hand turn out of the dealership parking lot (occurred on 4/8). I immediately returned the vehicle to the dealership where no new fix is available. I followed up on 4/14, I was told a software update went out on 4/9 and now they were unable to duplicate the issue. I agreed to take the vehicle again, where the issue immediately persisted upon exit of the parking lot; I immediately returned and was able to recreate the issue with a Ford employee in the vehicle. I do have video of the issue happening on 4/14. I also have video from the Ford chat stating this is a safety issue however I have been unable to upload them to the complaint.
In cold weather the doors will become unlatched and open. This has happened to all 4 doors, driver side, passenger side, rear driver and rear passenger. We will be driving and the doors will randomly become unlatched and fly open. We have small children and they could have been killed due to this incident. It is extremely unsafe and problematic. We are unbelievably fortunate that our children have not been killed due to these incidents. It can happen at any moment and the doors will not close for several hours or days once they become unlatched. Typically when the weather warms up they will close again, which can take days. We have had friends/family allow us to use their garage to park the car so the car will warm up and we can re-close the doors, only to have them fly open again at some random time. This is a very dangerous defect that poses a significant health and safety, especially to children and babies. Additionally it is a liability as it can take several hours/days before the latches will close again. This requires the use of ratchet straps to hold the doors closed as the latches will not close (even if you attempt to reset the latches manually). However, having ratchet straps running from door handle to door handle to keep the doors closed poses other safety concerns. When I reached out to the Ford mechanic I was told to replace the door latches as they may be defective. I had the driver side door latch replaced, but unfortunately the problem persists (about twice in the two months since it was replaced).
My back up camera is the issue. There is an open recall that it has been over 6 months with no resolution communicated. The camera was fuzzy or intermittently working for the last several years, however, the screen is now blue or says camera unavailable for 2ish weeks.
The chrome in the middle console of my vehicle was peeling and cut my finger.
The panoramic sunroof spontaneous combusted traveling 75 mph on the interstate. No debris, other vehicles, or overpasses in sight. The explosion and raining glass poses a safety concern. The vehicle is currently in the shop being inspected by the manufacturer, repair shop, insurance adjusters trying to decide who is going to cover the random exploding panoramic sunroof. If government environmental can require auto start stops be put on all consumer vehicles, it seems that the regulatory safety could do something about the overhead exploding glass that is both dangerous and costly.
Moonroof glass shattered while driving on interstate.
Steering wheel clicking when rotating, loud whirring/humming noise directly under where the sliding console is located, noise reverberates all throughout the cab and is worse at 65mph.
The vehicle is experiencing "unintended left turn signal activation". When a right hand turn signal is activated, and the steering wheel is corrected after completing the turn, the left turn signal activates spontaneously. This miscommunicates intent to other drivers, causes dangerous assumptions on the road and increases collision risk. Ford has acknowledged this is a known issue and a "great safety risk" but has no resolution. This has been ongoing since purchase in late summer 2025, however initially I thought it was perhaps a user error. It has since been identified as a known issue.
Less than a week from purchase , I was on the freeway doing 70 mph and the sunroof exploded on us for absolutely no reason. I had just dropped off my [xxx] son , had he been in the vehicle with his [xxx] brother and this happened I would be pursuing a lawsuit ! information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

While driving down the road, the sunroof spontaneously exploded. The loud bang (sounded like a gun shot) and tiny pieces of glass, that luckily were caught in the sunshade, could have been disastrous for my wife and our three small children that were in the car. The glass is bowed outwards. It has been taken back to mullinax Ford dealership for repair. They tell me it will not be covered under any warranty. There were no warning signs before now that there could be a problem with this sunroof, we only have 5k miles on the vehicle.
The rear portion of the panoramic moonroof shattered spontaneously while the vehicle was being operated, without any impact or external cause.
There is a loud sound coming from behind the glove box when the heater is going. This issue was recalled in 2023 but it has returned.

B&o radio amplifier exploded causing a sharp ear piercing static sound. This caused severe driver distraction and potential fire risk.
On Monday, January 12, I was driving down the highway with 2 of my coworkers, when all of a sudden there was a loud pop and glass shattered. My sunroof had exploded. It was a sunny clear day, there were no vehicles in front of us and we were not going under an overpass. We pulled over to take pictures and drove the vehicle straight to Ford. We have since read that this type of incident has occurred before with multiple other Expeditions.
I got an oil change 12/20/2025 and was told I have an oil leak coming from under the timing cover. An estimated expense of $4000 to repair. My vehicle is newer, 2019 and only has 77,000 miles on it. This issue shouldn’t be happening to a newer car.
I was driving on the i95 and just passed the mchenry tunnel when out of nothing I heared a loud bang and my moon roof spontaneously shattered into pieces. Nothing hit it and after inspection there was also no other damage on the car but the rear part of the moonroof that was completely shattered.
While driving smoke came from under my hood by the time I opened it was a full blown fire on the passenger side near the fuel injectors and spark plugs. We called 911 police and fire department came a nearby business owner loaned a fire extinguisher and we got the fire out. The fire men say it was caused by a spark plug that had came out caught spark with oil or gas it damaged hoses electrical and not sure what else yet.

My employee was walking to his Ford 2022 Expedition, he had started it remotely, went to open the back of the vehicle, and the glass exploded. We have a video of it happening from a ring camera system.
When accelerating from a complete stop making a left turn vehicle starting shaking and I could not accelerate. I was not on a safe road to pull out of the roadway. I had to turn the car off and back on again thankfully I was able to safely get the car home but this happened with no warning at all. This could have easily ended in an accident.
