This is the second time again 15 minutes that I've had to continue to put in these complaints about the recalls it is you know everything else about not being notified about all the recalls which I think there are between 10 and 12 all the way from the rear towing to the a pillars to the headlight all the way down to the Cadillac converter cam trimming assembly etc not been notified one time bye anyone nothing george coleman Ford dealership. Very unprofessional and I'm very pissed off right now I've spoke lol let the message for james farley ceo of Ford and I will be letting him know everything that has been going on because of the a pillars of water has been able to get inside the vehicle because that is the rubber around the front windshield which is supposed to have been you know done accurately and which it wasn't because if it was there wouldn't be a recall but I'm getting pretty pissed off to have to find out all these recalls on my own and for the Ford dealership where I bought the vehicle has not tried to reach out whatsoever even about the roof rack recall they have the parts in but they had not notified me so therefore if anything happens during the for the headlight if I get a ticket y'all will be held responsible if I get into a bad car wreck y'all will be held responsible because of the rear toe link that's a very important part because it will make you crash into a ditch and die and yeah I'm just I'm pretty pissed right now I can't wait for james farley to call me back because he's going to he's going to find out how pissed I am and I'll go above the ceo and talk to the Ford family about these issues along with leaving bad reviews and y'all get deducted for every complaint. There's one person at george coleman Ford that I would like to extend my gratitude towards and I don't know his first name his name is mr shockley that is a great man he's been the most helpful and he has went above and beyond to help me and my wife when I did ask him about the.

58 Air Bag problem of the 2023 Ford Explorer

Failure Date: 12/02/2023

As the passenger, following a passenger side impact, (t bone) I sustained 1st and 2nd degree burns extending from my ribs to my hip. To my knowledge the only airbags that inflated were the curtain air bags. Immediately upon impact I had a burning sensation on my right side that slowly began to spread. Once out of the car it was discovered that something had burned through 3 layers of clothing with the singed edges sticking to my skin. My vehicle was not drivable and was towed to a body shop. I spoke to the insurance company about the incident as I am receiving medical treatment for the burns. No one was interested in investigating the air bag.

61 Air Bag problem of the 2018 Ford Explorer

Failure Date: 10/12/2023

I have owned this vehicle for a year and have gone through three batteries. It shows multiple coded for circuit shorts - passenger mirror motor, tailgate/liftgate/trunk motor as well as the cinch striker motor, instrument panel which has lost communication with cruise control module, power steering module, battery voltage circuit below threshold, driver side curtain deployment control 1 circuit short to ground, switch illumination. When the vehicle is stopped or parked it constanly idles up to 1000 to 1500 rpms. These are all the codes that are showing on my vehicle. There has to be some sort of issue causing these problems. What happens if my airbag deploys without warning causing me to cause a major accident which can harm myself, my spouse, children and the people around me.

64 Air Bag problem of the 2014 Ford Explorer

Failure Date: 09/07/2023

Airbag light came on, had tested by local mechanic, informed left rear airbag and to take to dealer, dealer charged $252 to disagnose air bag in left rear shoulder strap. Since already replaced wiring harnesses under TSB 16-0001 back on 11/1/7/16 thought best to clean contacts of harness connectors and apply dielectric grease for an extra 1/2 labor for an addtitional $99 bringing the total to over $350. Both dealer and Ford refused to cover this repair. I am very dissapointed.

65 Air Bag problem of the 2013 Ford Explorer

Failure Date: 08/08/2023

The whole front control interface module has gone out along with some functions of the apm. Just stopped all of a sudden. Turned key on and nothing worked. The airbag light has come on saying solid color. The rear tailgate will not open with the electronic power buttons. This all went out at one time. Is confirmed to be the fcim and amp. Is a safety hazard due to airbags, not known if will work and the inability to open rear tailgate. Other failures are climate control. Is stuck on high heat defrost in middle of wisconsin summer, but not a real safety issue but very inconvenient.

66 Air Bag problem of the 2016 Ford Explorer

Failure Date: 07/31/2023

Recently noticed a yellow airbag light appearing on the instrument panel. Took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that there was previously a recall for this issue, and that a repair was performed. However, the issue has now resurfaced. We are afraid to continue driving the vehicle in this condition, as we feel that it would put us at risk. Dealer refuses to pay for the repair, claiming that the recall 'expired' in January 2023. Hoping that the NHTSA can assist me in resolving this issue, since there is nothing that I as a consumer could have done differently to prevent this, yet the dealer is demanding that I pay to fix it. Thank you.

68 Air Bag problem of the 2016 Ford Explorer

Failure Date: 07/29/2023

In July 2023 my airbag light appeared on my instrument panel. I checked seat belts but all was good. I had the Ford dealer diagnose and they said that the rear seat belt airbag was out of compliance. I am the original owner of the vehicle and asked if this was under any recall or TSB. They checked and said that it was no longer under any repair order and that it would cost me approx. $1100 to fix. They also said that no air bags would work in my vehicle and that they could not just turn the light off on the instrument panel. My vehicle is available for inspection and repair. I no longer feel safe for myself, my wife or my grandchildren riding in the vehicle. The airbags are critical safety feature and should last the life of the vehicle. My vehicle sits in the garage mostly and only has approx. 67000 miles.

69 Air Bag problem of the 2016 Ford Explorer

Failure Date: 07/18/2023

The airbag fault light on the dash of my 2016 Ford Explorer recently illuminated. I took it to christian brothers automotive, who did a complete diagnostics check. They determined that the inflatable seat belt should read 2. 2 ohms but it reading at 5. 5 ohms, which is causing the light to illuminate. They stated that the inflatable seat belt needs to be replaced. This appears to be the same issue with a Ford recall notice issued on January 21, 2022 under customer satisfaction program 21b11 related to 2014, 2015, and 2016 Ford Explorers. However, my VIN does not appear on the list of effected vehicles and Ford is refusing to repair it under the recall until it is added to the list.
