2000 Ford F-150 transmission gone at only 35,500 miles. Power Ford diagnosed and recommended a transmission replacement at $3,300. 00. I had both major services performed 15,000 service & 30,000 miles service and have changed my oil every 3,000-3,500 miles. I use this car mainly for pleasure on the weekends, thus the low mileage. I asked power Ford how I caused this they said I did't, that there is metal/brass in the pan and it is internal damage. But I didn't use them for regular services so there will be no assistance given. How sad!! I work at Honda and have the only Ford in the parking lot, when I do drive it to work.
