Left my home this morning and approached a stop sign and almost lost complete braking on my vehicle. Brake pedal was firm but almost no stopping ability. Brake fluid reservoir is full and brake pads and rotors are in good condition.
Tl the contact owns a 2016 Ford F-150. The vehicle was taken to mike bass Ford (440-934-3673, located at 5050 detroit rd, sheffield, OH 44035) for brake repairs. The contact stated that the rotors and brake pads needed to be replaced, but were not properly repaired. The contact did not provide specifics about the failure he experienced. The dealer stated that nothing else could be done. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact back to the same dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 21,000.
2016 f150 truck, 24,000 miles. While applying the brakes, the truck will stop but the pedal continues until it hits the floor. The brake pads are good, brake fluid is full. I am taking the vehicle to a dealership on 7-18-18. Very unsettling to have a new truck and the brake pedal doesn't work correctly.
